Erve Woolderink
Erve Woolderink in Wierden
Erve Woolderink is an organic farm close to Wierden and Enter. The farm has been inhabited by the Woolderink family since 1400. In 1797, the farm was in a very bad state and it was decided to demolish the approximately 500-year-old farm and build a new one. Nowadays, Erve Woolderink consists of a beautiful farmhouse with a lovely barn, both of which are listed as national monuments. The Twents Coulisse landscape with its hedgerows, age-old trees and ever-surprising vistas forms a perfectly natural backdrop for the historic appearance of the Woolderink farmstead. At Erve Woolderink a herd of Aberdeen Angus cows graze, this original Scottish breed is one of the few herds that graze in the Netherlands. The cows and calves of this very friendly breed graze in the meadow and are stabled in winter. You can spend the night on the farm at Erve Woolderink in the Reggehooibergen. These holiday cottages are in a unique spot, so you can see hares and deer from the terrace.
