Child-friendly campsite with indoor playground and outdoor swimming pool located in Drenthe, Wateren

General

At the reception desk, staff are ready to assist you with all your questions and with bike rentals. Upon request, you can rent mountain bikes, tandems, and electric bikes, among other things. This allows you to explore the beautiful, natural surroundings at your own pace.

Need to do your laundry? You can visit our laundromat. You're also welcome to stop by our cozy cafeteria for a cup of coffee, a drink, or some fries.

Children

There's a large indoor playground for children. They can also have plenty of fun outdoors in the playgrounds with various play equipment, the sandbox, or the air trampoline. There's even a sand and water playground where they can enjoy hours of fun.

An enthusiastic entertainment team is present during the May holidays, Ascension Day and Pentecost, and for five weeks during the summer holidays. They organize all kinds of fun activities for all ages.

Swimming pool and sports facilities

For a refreshing dip, visit our cozy, heated pool. There's a separate paddling pool for the littlest ones. After swimming, you can relax in the adjacent sunbathing area.

Prefer to stay active? The campsite has a sports field where you can practice various sports.

The Drents-Friese Wold is the second largest continuous forest area in the Netherlands after the Veluwe. The nature reserve is known for its many hiking and cycling routes, as well as adventurous mountain bike trails and opportunities for covered wagon rides. Around Wateren you will find nice trips and many attractions: for example, visit the Miramar Sea Museum, the Drents Museum or enjoy a wellness break at Sauna Het Friese Woud. For a wonderful day out (with your children) you can visit the ancient dolmens in Havelte or Attractiepark Duinen Zathe. Would you like a day of shopping or a terrace?
