Beautiful holiday park located in a wooded area in the Veluwe nature reserve

Do you want to escape the daily grind? Then holiday park Het Verscholen Dorp is the right place for you. This holiday park has accommodation for three to six people on the Veluwe in Harderwijk. Here you can fully enjoy nature, beautiful forests and blooming heathlands. From here you can explore the area on foot or by bike. The Veluwe is centrally located and therefore you can easily reach many places in the Netherlands by car. From the end of May to September you can use the heated outdoor pool and for the little ones there is a paddling pool where they can play. If you feel hungry afterwards, you can have a bite to eat in our restaurant La Famiglia.

General

Located on the edge of the Veluwe. There are various chalets and bungalows for three to six people. All accommodations are fully equipped and all have WIFI and at least two bedrooms. You can park your car at the accommodation. There is a launderette at the holiday park.

Restaurant 

There is a restaurant just outside the park where you can dine. Here you will find a variety of dishes such as pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes. For small children, there are also options such as pasta, pizza or fries with grandma's apple sauce.

Rental

Want to discover the beautiful surroundings at your own leisure? Then hire a seven-speed bike, children's bike, E-bike and/or child seat at the park. 

Sports and games

The outdoor swimming pool is open from the end of May to September and is also heated. 

Children

Children love playing outdoors. For them, there is an outdoor playground where they can have fun and relax. If it is too hot and you want to cool down, there is also a paddling pool for the little ones where they can play, romp and enjoy themselves.

Location and surroundings

Harderwijk is situated in the middle of the Veluwe forests on the Veluwe Lake. You can cycle and walk through the beautiful countryside to your heart's content here. The Veluwemeer lake with Strand Horst invites you to swim, sunbathe, wind- and kite-surf. There are several golf courses nearby, including on the beach, in the Leuvenumse Bos and in the polder. Harderwijk has a cosy centre with a variety of shops, cafés and restaurants. Visit the friendly nearby towns, Nunspeet and Elburg for fine terraces or Amersfoort and Apeldoorn for great shopping. For a day out, visit Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn or one of the many other castles in the area.
