The Living Room is the warm, inviting heart of the park. While you settle in for a snack or drink or delve into a book, the children can entertain themselves at the colorful Lego wall, among the stacks of games, at the air hockey table, or in the overflowing library full of stories. Several tables offer a clear view of the outdoor playground, so you can sit back and relax while the children play, both inside and out.

Swimming

The pool with a retractable roof offers swimming fun in virtually any weather. On sunny days, the roof slides open, allowing you to swim outdoors, while on less favorable days, you can swim comfortably indoors.

Play & discover

Several playgrounds and play facilities are located throughout the park. Young children will find extra water fun at the Spetterpoel, where playing with sand and water takes center stage. Outside the park, the Belevingspad (Experience Trail) begins: a roughly 1.5-kilometer walking route that introduces you and your children to the nature and landscape of Drenthe. Children will also enjoy riding around in the go-kart rentals. During the holidays, the recreation team provides a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages.

Sports & cycling

If you're looking for an active holiday, you've come to the right place. On the multi-sports field, you can play paddle tennis, football, basketball, and tennis. With bike rentals, you can easily explore Drenthe's natural beauty via the many cycling and hiking trails that start right in the area.

In the beautiful surroundings of Norg, head out for a day of cycling or a long walk. Getting lost in these surroundings will certainly not be a punishment. The landscape consists of fields, heaths, wet grasslands and precious old woodlands. The beautiful nature reserves Fochterloërveen the Drents-Friese Wold are even within cycling distance. For a day out, visit the National Prison Museum in Veenhuizen, the Drents Museum or the toy museum Kinderwereld in Roden. In Norg, you will find several cosy restaurants and boutiques. Want a day of shopping with a bit more on offer? You can be in Assen or Groningen in no time.
