The Squirrel Path

This exciting trail is designed for families and offers a unique way to explore nature. The Squirrel Trail has no fewer than 10 different challenges to complete along the way. Climb and clamber in the various play equipment and discover all sorts of fun facts about the animals and insects you encounter along the way. The Squirrel Trail is a fantastic way to experience nature interactively.

Bicycle rental

City bikes and electric bikes are available for rent at the park. The park also offers mountain bikes, tandems, cargo bikes, and child seats. The park also has five beautiful go-karts in various sizes. For more information and reservations, please contact reception.

Outdoor swimming pool

There's an outdoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool, open from May to September, weather permitting. It's the perfect place to relax or cool off. Across the park is a municipal swimming pool, open year-round.

Snack bar

If you don't feel like cooking after a day exploring nature or enjoying activities, Buuf & Buur offers a delicious snack with fries, soft serve ice cream, and much more. The cafeteria is open daily during the holidays.

Laundromat

Next to the cafeteria is a 24-hour laundry room. It has two washing machines and a dryer. Detergent is automatically dispensed. Washer and dryer tokens are available at the reception.

Twente is known for its hospitality, which you will undoubtedly experience here. In this area, you will also find many historic castles with beautiful gardens, restored wind and water mills and authentic villages. Each one worth a visit. This area is a true paradise for cyclists, hikers and Nordic walkers, because during the trips, each route provides a different scenery. Do you like to go to the big city? Then Enschede, Hengelo, Almelo and (a little further away) Deventer are recommended. For a day out in the area, the five-star route through the Hof van Twente, the castles tour (by bike), Museumboerderij Erve Brooks and Avonturenpark Hellendoorn are fun and suitable for the whole family.
