Woubrugge, South-Holland

Woubrugge is a village in the province of South Holland. It is located about ten kilometres east of Leiden. Woubrugge is popular with water sports enthusiasts because of its convenient location near the Wijde Aa, the Braassemermeer lake and the Westeinder and Kager lakes. In nearby Alphen aan den Rijn, bird park Avifauna and open-air museum Archeon are worth a visit. A day in Leiden is also a possibility. This is a beautiful historic city with many canals, idyllic bridges, floating terraces, squares with shops, restaurants and terraces. It is fun to be taken through the canals on a canal boat.
