Luxury studio for 2 people overlooking the IJsselmeer in Workum
This luxury studio for two persons is cosy but fully equipped. It is located in an apartment complex with a lift in Workum. From the studio you have a beautiful view over the IJsselmeer. From the studio, you can walk straight onto the beach. At the beach resort, there are various facilities such as a marina, supermarket, laundrette, various playgrounds, sports field, snack bar and a harbour restaurant. During your stay, a visit to the Elfstedenstad Workum cannot be missed. This area is perfect for water sports enthusiasts, but there are also various walking and cycling routes in the area.
The room has a seating area with a smart TV and two single beds. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, combi microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and Nespresso. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Outside, there is a balcony with two chairs. One car can be parked at the apartment.

Workum in Friesland is a valhalla for water sports enthusiasts, due to its location on the IJsselmeer. You can also take beautiful walks or bike rides along the coast here. Workum is known for its historical buildings, picturesque streets, canals and bridges. A very nice attraction in Workum is the Jopie Huisman Museum, dedicated to the life and work of this famous Frisian artist. The surrounding villages and hamlets are also worth a visit. Nearby are Bolsward and Hindeloopen, where you can easily spend a day.

According to the It Soal website, there was a beach pavilion, a snack bar, a shop, and a restaurant. Only the restaurant was supposedly open; the rest were still closed. It's a shame that wasn't clearly indicated on their website. On Saturday, we had to check out at reception. There was no one there, and according to the sign posted there, it was closed on Saturdays.
Volgens de website van It Soal was er een strandpaviljoen, een snackbar, een winkel en een restaurant. Alleen het restaurant zou open zijn. De rest was nog gesloten. Jammer dat dat niet duidelijk op hun website stond aangegeven.
Zaterdag moesten wij bij de receptie uitchecken. Er was niemand en volgens bordje wat daar hing op zaterdag gesloten.

This wasn't clearly indicated at the shop, and we apologize for that. At that time, the reception was indeed still closed on weekends, as indicated on our website. Goedemiddag meneer van der Horst, bedankt voor uw beoordeling. Op onze website staat aangegeven bij het restaurant en snackbar dat ze vanaf 28/3 geopend zijn. Bij de winkel stond dit niet duidelijk aangegeven, onze excuses hier voor.
In die tijd was de receptie inderdaad nog in het weekend gesloten, dit staat ook aangegeven op onze site. Het spijt ons als u hierdoor ongemak heeft ervaren. hopelijk heeft u verder een fijn verblijf gehad.

Tastefully decorated apartment with a fantastic view of the IJsselmeer. All amenities were still closed due to the winter season, which we knew in advance. The park is undergoing extensive renovations. We got a great impression!
Smaakvol ingericht appartementje met fantastisch uitzicht op het IJsselmeer. Alle faciliteiten waren nog gesloten ivm winterseizoen wat we ook van tevoren wisten. Park is volop aan het vernieuwen. Mooie indruk van gekregen!
