Cozy and spacious 8 person holiday home in Wolphaartsdijk
The house is located near Wolphaartsdijk, right on Lake Veere. Wolphaartsdijk is a small authentic Zeeland village with a marina, restaurants and shops for your daily groceries. In the immediate vicinity of the house, you will find nature, water, cycling and walking opportunities and of course the Veerse Meer with various water sports facilities and a number of catering establishments. A lovely place for a weekend away or a week's holiday!
In this cosily furnished house, you will experience a lot of space. There is about 120 m2 of floor space where you will find a large living room and 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The open kitchen is very well equipped, including a fridge, dishwasher, induction hob, combi microwave oven, Senseo, kettle, Nespresso and various kitchen utensils. The sitting area has a large-screen flat-screen smart TV with Netflix about 50 DVDs, various books and games. Lovely to spend the evening after a nice day's holiday. The large dining table provides ample space for extensive dining or playing games.
On the ground floor is a bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower.
On the first floor are three bedrooms, each with two single beds and a wardrobe. The large bathroom houses a shower, a whirlpool bath and a double sink. There is a separate a toilet. In the spacious utility room is washer/dryer combination. There is a large garden and around the house a terrace which is partly covered. Here you will find a large outdoor table with 8 chairs and a comfortable seating area. In the shed at the side of the house are several garden chairs and a large parasol. Next to the house is parking space for two cars.

- Barbecuing is allowed, but not under the covered terrace, due to fire sensitivity.

Location and surroundings
Wolphaartsdijk, Zeeland
Next to Goes and on Lake Veere you will find Wolphaartsdijk. Goes, also called the shopping heart of Zeeland, is very close by and here you will find many shopping opportunities located in and around the historic city center. Goes also has several galleries and the Historical Museum de Bevelanden is not to be missed. The region is also known for its water sports opportunities and from Wolphaartsdijk, Middelburg and Veere are also nice towns to visit. The beach on the west coast of Walcheren is only a little further away: Vlissingen, Zoutelande, Westkapelle and Domburg are all recommended and insanely beautiful. For a day of culture and history, Deltapark Neeltje Jans is absolutely interesting.

The house had plenty of room for us, six adults and one child. The layout was excellent (a double bedroom with a shower and sink downstairs, two double bedrooms and a bathroom and toilet upstairs). Parking wasn't a problem, but that might be different in the summer. From the cottage, practically all of Walcheren is within easy reach - textbox full :(
In het huis was ruimte genoeg voor ons, zes volwassenen en één kind. De indeling was prima (beneden een 2pers slaapkamer met douche en wastafel, boven 2 2pers slaapkamers en een badkamer en toilet). Parkeren was geen probleem, maar dat zal in de zomer wel anders zijn. Vanuit het huisje is eigenlijk heel Walcheren binnen bereik - textbox vol :(

A lovely house, though it doesn't really feel like a holiday home . It's cozy. It did take a while to get the house up to temperature, and it took some effort to figure out how to use the oven. Instructions would be helpful.
Een fijn huis, dat niet echt als een vakantiehuis aandoet. Het is gezellig ingericht.
Het duurde wel wat lang voordat het huis op temperatuur was en het kostte wat moeite om te ontdekken hoe de oven werkte. Een gebruiksaanwijzing zou handig zijn.
