Cozy 4-person vacation home directly at the sea dike and in the seaside resort Westkapelle
Holidaying close to the sea, yet in peace and privacy? Then this is the property you are looking for. The house is located at the bottom of the Westkapelle seawall: out of the garden gate, up the stairs and you are by the sea. In every season, this place is unique. In summer, people go fishing at the bottom of the dike and many enjoy the beautiful view on foot or by bike. In winter, the sea can be turbulent with imposing waves: an impressive sight! Facilities are nearby, such as a supermarket, several restaurants, bike rental, butcher and bakery. From Westkapelle, you can easily reach various places such as the lively Domburg, the cosy seaside resort Zoutelande or the historic town of Middelburg.
Do you have an electric car? There is a charging station 50 metres away to charge a car.
The tastefully furnished living room includes a corner sofa, television and a dining area with four chairs. The windows at the back of the house are in frosted glass. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped including an oven, filter and Senseo coffee maker, a mini dishwasher and a five-burner cooker. The bathroom has a washbasin, toilet and shower. Furthermore, there are two bedrooms: one bedroom has a double bed with a double mattress (160 cm x 200 cm with a 220 cm x 240 cm duvet). The other bedroom has a triple bunk bed. The upper bed is a single bed (90 cm x 200 cm and a duvet of 150 cm x 200 cm). The lower bed is suitable for two persons (140 cm x 200 cm and two 150 cm x 200 cm duvets). The south-facing terrace has a cosy seating area with four garden chairs where you can enjoy the Zeeland sun. There is a lockable shed where you can charge your bike. Free parking is available near the house.

Westkapelle is located on the North Sea and in the westernmost tip of Walcheren. Westkapelle is often praised for its beautiful beach, which is also right next to the town. Besides sunbathing, swimming and getting a breath of fresh air, there is plenty to do in Westkapelle. For example, you can enjoy all the fun in the center and many events are organized, especially during the summer period. You will also find a lot of history here: for example, visit the Polderhuis, where the entire history of Westkapelle and Walcheren is on display. Should you wish to explore the surrounding area, grab your bike, hiking boots or car. Enjoy the dunes, nature parks and cycling routes.

The holiday home promises more in the pictures and description than it delivers. The beds/mattresses are quite run down, and the entire house is very worn and in desperate need of renovation.
Das Ferienhaus verspricht auf den Bildern und in der Beschreibung mehr als es hält. Die Betten/Matratzen sind ziemlich heruntergekommen und das gesamte Haus ist sehr verwohnt und kann dringend eine Renovierung gebrauchen.

Aber das ist nicht unsere Absicht. In these days we will be happy to visit our holiday home, in which case we will be our guests. Gentle and comfortable. We will fully understand you, because you have other experiences. If you are guided, that is why we are not able to inherit them. None of them were proud of all the new punks. We've stayed at this holiday home several times since 2016, and it's nice that it's been renovated and improved continuously. However, it's time for new mattresses in all beds and a clean of the drains. Furthermore, the information regarding garbage collection should be clearly visible, not hidden in the closet.
Wir sind seit 2016 schon mehrfach in diesem Ferienhaus gewesen und es ist schön, dass immer wieder renoviert und verbessert worden ist. Allerdings würde es Zeit für neue Matratzen in allen Betten sowie eine Reinigung der Abflüsse. Weiterhin sollte die Info betreffend Müllabfuhr nicht im Schrank versteckt sondern ganz offensichtlich zu sehen sein.
