The 17th-century village is centrally located in North Holland and is also next to the Unesco World Heritage Site the Beemster. There are many possibilities when you want a day out. For example, go to the Zaanse Schans, a unique neighborhood with working windmills, old crafts, beautiful green wooden houses and special museums.
