Cosy 6-person holiday home with sauna between the woods on the Veluwe.
Relaxing in a wooded area? This lovely six-person holiday home is on Park Berkenrhode, in the middle of the Veluwe. A perfect base for lovely cycling trips or long walks through the beautiful countryside. Returning from your outings? Then there is plenty of opportunity to relax in the park's heated outdoor swimming pool. The holiday home itself also has a sauna, so you can fully relax at the house. For good food and drink, there is no need to leave the park. Delicious dishes using local produce are served at Le Grand Café. This house is also environmentally friendly, completely off gas and fitted with a heat pump. So enjoy it responsibly!
This spacious six-person holiday home is located by the forest edge, pond or elsewhere on the park and has an area of 75m2. The cosy living room includes a couch with a television, an atmospheric fireplace (gas), two armchairs and a dining table with six comfortable chairs. The kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a fridge-freezer, a combination microwave oven and an induction hob. There is also a coffee machine and kettle. The three bedrooms have comfortable boxpring beds (two rooms with the beds together and one room with two beds apart). This house has two bathrooms, one with walk-in shower and washbasin and one with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. There is also a second toilet in the house. The large garden has a spacious terrace with furniture and a sauna. Parking is available right by the house.

Location and surroundings
Wekerom, Gelderland
Wekerom is a village in Gelderland, in the Veluwe region. As such, there is plenty to do in the area. Visit the Dutch Tile Museum. Here you will learn all about special wall tiles and tile pictures. From the late Middle Ages to contemporary ceramics: everything is covered. At Otterlo Events, you can also go on a 4x4 safari: drive in a tough all-terrain vehicle and enjoy the most beautiful places the Veluwe has to offer. Want to discover nature, but prefer walking? Then the special 12-kilometre Klompenpad 'Beek- en Bultpad' is just the thing for you! After a pleasant day, enjoy a snack and a drink at one of the many restaurants or cafés.

The cottage was nice and clean. It was a bit cramped for six adults and one dog. We could walk straight into the woods. Unfortunately, there wasn't an enclosed garden for the dog. The cottage is actually a chalet, which caused a lot of heat loss. The duvets weren't designed for this.
Het huisje was mooi en schoon. Wel wat krap voor 6 volwassenen en 1 hond. We konden zo het bos inlopen. Helaas was er geen afgesloten tuin voor de hond. Het huisje is eigenlijk een chalet. Hierdoor was er veel warmte verlies. De dikte van de dekbedden was hier niet op berekend.

The cottage (no. 137), intended for 6 people, was a bit cramped. Of the 7 days we stayed, we stayed 4 days with 3 people, and 2.5 days with 5 people. The cottage is definitely very cramped for 6 people. The surrounding area is beautiful and the park is very clean with a friendly welcome. The staff were helpful. The sauna didn't work very well.
Het huisje (nr. 137) bestemd voor 6 personen was aan de krappe kant. Wij zijn van de 7 dagen, 4 dagen met 3 personen geweest, en 2,5 dag met 5 personen. Het huisje is met 6 personen zeker erg krap. Omgeving heel mooi en een heel net park met een vriendelijke ontvangst. Behulpzaam personeel. De sauna, werkte niet echt goed.

The surroundings and wooded area are excellent. The cottage is a bit less so, with surprisingly good mosquito screens, unfortunately, a sparse inventory, a broken broom, and no mop, and a poorly functioning vacuum cleaner. Very worn carpet and a worn floor. It's a shame they didn't consider the indoor climate in hot weather. Small garden, little privacy. The swimming pool and restaurant are excellent.
Omgeving en bosrijke omgeving top. Huisje iets minder, horren verassend goed, helaas karige inventaris en een kapotte bezem en geen dweil, slecht werkende stofzuiger. Zeer versleten kleed en kapotte vloer. Jammer dat er niet is nagedacht over het binnenklimaat bij warm weer. Kleine tuin, weinig privacy. Zwembad en restaurant helemaal goed.
