The Drents-Friese Wold is the second largest continuous forest area in the Netherlands after the Veluwe. The nature reserve is known for its many hiking and cycling routes, as well as adventurous mountain bike trails and opportunities for covered wagon rides. Around Wateren you will find nice trips and many attractions: for example, visit the Miramar Sea Museum, the Drents Museum or enjoy a wellness break at Sauna Het Friese Woud. For a wonderful day out (with your children) you can visit the ancient dolmens in Havelte or Attractiepark Duinen Zathe. Would you like a day of shopping or a terrace? Wij hadden het genoegen om kennis te maken met Danny toen we aankwamen. Wat een prettige kennismaking was dat. Leuk gesprek gelijk en we konden de dagen hierna genieten van het het meer dan complete huis.
