Luxury 2 person wellness lodge in the Veluwe - sauna - sun shower

Luxery two-person, ground-floor wellness lodge with sauna, sun shower and a free-standing bath at Recreation Estate De IJsvogel. Recreational estate De IJsvogel is a wonderful holiday park with many facilities for young and old and is located on the edge of the Veluwe in a wooded, rural area with plenty of cycling and hiking trails. Rest seekers, but also active people will have a great time here. The estate is approximately four kilometers from the pleasant village of Voorthuizen. Furthermore, the places Barneveld, Garderen, Putten and Otterlo are in the immediate vicinity.

Spacious and cozy living room with sitting area with TV and dining area. Spacious kitchen that is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, four-burner stove, kettle and Nespresso. There is a bedroom with a double box spring combination and a free-standing bath in the room. The bathroom has a walk-in sun shower, vanity unit, toilet and a private Finnish sauna. Lovely garden with terrace with garden furniture and two sun loungers.

Voorthuizen is a beautiful place in the midst of beautiful nature and also a fine place to stay for exploring the area. For example, Zeumeren is a beautiful lake where you can swim and where many water sports are also practiced. Think of surfing, pedal boats, water skiing and canoeing, but in winter you can also enjoy hiking and cycling in the area. Real fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby Aanschotergat fishing lake. From Voorthuizen you can be in the National Park De Hoge Veluwe in the blink of an eye, where you can go cycling. Apeldoorn, where you can visit the Julianatoren amusement park or Het Loo Palace, is also close by, and in Voorthuizen itself there are many pleasant terraces and restaurants.

I can't understand how the area under the bed hasn't been cleaned for at least a year. On top of that, there are no oils for the sauna and many other things are missing. I would never go there again.

Great location of the cottages. You can sit in complete privacy without being overlooked by the neighbors. All facilities were within easy walking distance. Very neat park, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings.
