Thanks to its waterfront location, you'll not only enjoy beautiful views but can also fish right from the property.
The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and exploration. Cycle to one of the nearby villages, take a walk along the lake, or visit the monastery in Ter Apel. Also fun: there are several restaurants nearby, an outdoor swimming pool, and opportunities for a day of sailing or golfing. Back at your bungalow, you can completely unwind, whether you relax in the sauna or fish by the water.

Vlagtwedde, Groningen
Located just across the Drenthe border you will find the beautiful surroundings of Vlagtwedde: an ideal base for wonderful walking and cycling tours. Explore the watery area by canoe or spend a day shopping in the lively student city of Groningen. A visit to the historic fortified town of Bourtange is also possible and highly recommended. For children there is also plenty to do in the area. Think for example of Wildlands in Emmen or Plopsaland Indoor in Coevorden. There are also several museums nearby: visit, among others, the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen, the Hunebedcentrum in Borger, the Remembrance Center Camp Westerbork or Museum Village Orvelte.
