Did you know that Vijlen is the highest village in the Netherlands? This beautiful destination has peace, nature, and stunning views in store for you. In the village itself, the half-timbered houses and the striking St. Martin's Church are particular eye-catchers. The nature is also well worth exploring. You can enjoy a lovely walk through the vast Vijlenerbos with its sunken lanes and green hills. In the surrounding area, the Three-Country Point and cities like Aachen and Maastricht are fun to visit during a day trip. In short: there is plenty to see and do in the South Limburg hills.
