4-person holiday home with whirlpool bath in Veere

The holiday home is located 50 metres from the Veerse Kreek, a lovely quiet spot that is perfect for various water activities such as fishing, supping or a lovely trip on our pedal boats. The old town of Veere is two kilometres away and the beach of Vrouwenpolder five kilometres. In the town of Veere, you will find nice cafés and restaurants. On Tuesdays in season, it hosts the historical market where the market vendors are dressed in historical clothing. The capital of Zeeland, Middelburg, is ten kilometres away. In the beautiful surroundings of Veere, you can enjoy walking and/or cycling.

This bright four-bed holiday home has a modern living room with an open-plan kitchen. In the living room, there is a sofa, two comfortable chairs and a television where you can watch Netflix or Videoland with your own inlog. At the end of the living room is the dining table with four chairs. You walk straight into the kitchen equipped with a combi microwave/oven, induction hob, Nespresso and a dishwasher. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor.

On the first floor you will find the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom has a modern rain shower, hand shower, toilet and a sink.

The garden can be accessed from the living room through a sliding door. The garden faces south and is furnished.

You can park your car on the camping site.

Location and surroundings

Veere, Zeeland

In its heyday, Veere was a mighty trading town where much ship trade with Scotland was conducted. Today, the small town on Lake Veere still has a beautiful marina and the many buildings remind you of this glorious time. There are not only the old streets with warehouses, but also many authentic stores, boutiques and souvenir shops that are also open on Sundays. In addition, the Campveerse tower, Scottish houses and the imposing church are definitely worth a visit. A day of shopping? Within the blink of an eye you can be in cozy Middelburg. If you prefer to immerse yourself in the history of the region, you can visit Deltapark Neeltje Jans and learn all about the Delta Works.

We really enjoyed the cottage. It's well-located, with great hiking opportunities, and it's close to Veere. The beach is a bit of a drive away. It was nice that there was a welcome pack for the dog. Good facilities, comfortable bed. The sofa is sinking a bit and isn't very comfortable anymore. Otherwise, everything was perfect!
Owner's response:
We're so glad you enjoyed the cottage and the surrounding area. The area is perfect for lovely walks, and dogs are welcome a bit further out and can roam freely! Thank you for the great rating, and it was really nice that you called afterward to let us know everything had been perfect; that really makes us happy! Kind regards, Nick and Maartje

The only possible improvement is the seat, which sits very low/deep. It's difficult to get up from a chair for someone with a bit of leg strength.
Owner's response:
Thanks for the review, what a great rating! Hopefully see you again! Best, Nick and Maartje

Super clean cottage, beautiful location, delicious fish restaurant within walking distance. Everything in the area is easily accessible by car. And dog-friendly; there was a welcome pack waiting for the dog. Highly recommended!
Owner's response:
Thank you for the lovely review. We have a wonderful place for the dogs, with plenty of walking areas everywhere and close to Lake Veerse Meer. We're glad you had a great time. Kind regards, Nick and Maartje
