Peace, atmosphere, and the Zeeland countryside come together in this comfortable 4-person holiday home, located in an authentic old barn near Veere and the Veerse Meer. The house is situated on a small estate in a green and quiet environment, ideal for those who want to experience Zeeland at a relaxed pace.
The holiday home is spread over multiple floors and features two comfortable bedrooms, one of which is located in the attic. On the first floor, there is a double bed with comfortable mattresses and a luxurious bathroom with a rain shower and toilet. Additionally, there is a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, the property features a private enclosed garden with a terrace. From the garden, you can walk straight towards the creek, where a picnic bench is available for sitting peacefully by the water and enjoying the nature and silence around you.
After a day of walking, cycling, or a visit to Veere, Middelburg, or the Zeeland beaches, you will feel right at home here. From the house, you can easily discover Walcheren's extensive cycling and walking network and the many water sports opportunities around the Veerse Meer. An atmospheric place for those who love peace, nature, and the character of a small-scale stay in Zeeland.

In its heyday, Veere was a mighty trading town where much ship trade with Scotland was conducted. Today, the small town on Lake Veere still has a beautiful marina and the many buildings remind you of this glorious time. There are not only the old streets with warehouses, but also many authentic stores, boutiques and souvenir shops that are also open on Sundays. In addition, the Campveerse tower, Scottish houses and the imposing church are definitely worth a visit. A day of shopping? Within the blink of an eye you can be in cozy Middelburg. If you prefer to immerse yourself in the history of the region, you can visit Deltapark Neeltje Jans and learn all about the Delta Works.

We had a wonderful holiday. The cottage disappointed us in terms of space, storage, and light. As a result, we are not satisfied with the price-quality ratio.

Everything was excellent: very clean accommodation, a beautiful location by the lake, and extremely friendly hosts. We felt completely at ease and would love to come back.

Wonderful, and what lovely new owners! Maartje and Nick are very hospitable and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. A light bulb was broken and fixed immediately. They also arranged an extra extension cord for the charging bike. They even asked us if there were any improvements we could make, as they had only just started three weeks ago.
Geweldig, en wat een lieve nieuwe eigenaren. Maartje en Nick zijn heel gastvrij en deden er alles aan om ons verblijf fijn te laten verlopen. en lichtbolletje was stuk en gelijk verholpen. extra verlengsnoer voor de oplaad fiets ook geregeld.
ze vroegen zelf ook om aan te geven of er verbeterpunten waren omdat ze net 3 weken gestart zijn.
