Luxurious and uniquely situated 2 person house near the Limes in the centre of Valkenburg
This luxurious and uniquely situated holiday home for two is located in the center of Valkenburg, South Holland, just a few kilometers from the North Sea beach and the historic city of Leiden. The cottage is literally on the Limespad and next to an old Castellum (castle). Valkenburg boasts a rich history dating back to Roman times on the Rhine. The village of Valkenburg is a quiet village, but there's plenty to do in the surrounding area. The butcher and baker are literally on the corner.
Ground floor: Living room with underfloor heating, dining area, and sitting area with a smart TV with Dutch and German channels and internet. Fully equipped kitchen with a combination microwave, toaster, extractor hood, electric hob, refrigerator, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and dishwasher. Toilet.
First floor: Bedroom with a double box-spring bed and a bathroom with shower and sink, hairdryer and towels.
The cottage is located behind the owner's house, but it has its own entrance and a patio with seating. There's also space to store and charge bicycles on the property. Free parking is available approximately 95 meters from the property.

The village of Valkenburg is a quiet village where you can go for your daily shopping, but there is also plenty to do in the area. Valkenburg is known for the former naval airfield Valkenburg Vliegkamp, which was closed in July 2006. Since 30 October 2010, the highly successful musical Soldaat van Oranje has been performed in one of the hangars of this former airport. Valkenburg has a rich history of Roman times on the Rhine. Much can be found in the Tower Museum. The beach of Katwijk is 4.5 km and the bustling Leiden about the same distance. Leiden has a lot of museums, restaurants and beautiful canals.

A beautifully furnished, cozy little house. The kitchen is also excellent, with sharp knives, an oven, a capsule coffee machine, a large refrigerator, etc. The beach, Leiden, and The Hague are all easily accessible by bike.
Toll eingerichtetes, gemütliches Häuschen. Auch die Küche ist TOP, z.B. scharfe Messer, Backofen, Kapselmaschine, gr. Kühlschrank usw.. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man schnell am Strand, in Leiden oder etwas weiter in Den Haag.

Beautiful cottage. For us as an older couple, the stairs were too narrow, but that's unavoidable. Otherwise, all praise; a lot of attention has been paid to it. Everything is provided.
Prachtig huisje. Voor ons als ouder echtpaar een te smalle trap, maar dat kan niet anders. Verder alle lof; er is veel aandacht aan besteed. Alles is aanwezig.
