Luxurious and uniquely situated 2 person house near the Limes in the centre of Valkenburg
This luxurious and uniquely situated holiday home for two is located in the center of Valkenburg, South Holland, just a few kilometers from the North Sea beach and the historic city of Leiden. The cottage is literally on the Limespad and next to an old Castellum (castle). Valkenburg boasts a rich history dating back to Roman times on the Rhine. The village of Valkenburg is a quiet village, but there's plenty to do in the surrounding area. The butcher and baker are literally on the corner.
Ground floor: Living room with underfloor heating, dining area, and sitting area with a smart TV with Dutch and German channels and internet. Fully equipped kitchen with a combination microwave, toaster, extractor hood, electric hob, refrigerator, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and dishwasher. Toilet.
First floor: Bedroom with a double box-spring bed and a bathroom with shower and sink, hairdryer and towels.
The cottage is located behind the owner's house, but it has its own entrance and a patio with seating. There's also space to store and charge bicycles on the property. Free parking is available approximately 95 meters from the property.

This was my fourth holiday in this wonderful little house. That alone speaks for itself. Very friendly hosts, a great location, and beautiful places to visit nearby. We didn't need the car all week and got around exclusively by bicycle.
Das war mein 4. Urlaub in diesem tollen kleinen Häuschen. Das alleine spricht schon für sich. Sehr nette Gastgeber, tolle Lage und schöne Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung. Wir haben die ganze Woche das Auto nicht gebraucht und waren nur mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs.

A beautifully furnished house with everything you need. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A great base for exploring the surrounding area, whether on foot, by bike, or by car. We felt very comfortable. Thank you.
Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Haus, mit allem, was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Toller Ausgangspunkt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden, ob zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke.

We really enjoyed the area around Valkenburg, especially cities like Leiden, Delft, and The Hague. Excellent cycling paths.
