The Uddelermeer lake, a rare natural lake, is also nearby and is a nice place for a short walk or picnic. For longer trips, there are numerous marked routes, both on foot and by bike. The nearby Leuvenumse Bossen, the Speulder- en Sprielderbossen and the Hoog Buurlose Heide are all popular nature reserves, each with their own character.
