In the area around Schoonloo you can enjoy the vast nature that Drenthe is known for: the many forests and colourful heathlands offer the possibility for countless beautiful cycling and walking trips. There are also many sports possibilities in and around Schoonloo, such as horse riding and mountain biking. There are also many possibilities for a day out: walk meters above the ground on the Boomkroonpad, admire ancient dolmens in Borger and immerse yourself in the sweeping history of camp Westerbork. Go shopping for a day in Emmen, Hoogeveen or Assen and visit a good restaurant in one of the characteristic surrounding villages Schoonoord, Exloo or Odoorn.

Very beautiful cottage equipped with all amenities. The surroundings are perfect for walkers and cyclists. We are not either, so the location was slightly less suitable for us.

We have now had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful holiday for the second time at Cube 25 on Landgoed de Huynen in Drenthe – and that really says it all! We enjoyed it so much last year that we chose the same place and the same holiday home again without hesitation this year. And this time, too, we were absolutely not disappointed! Cube 25 is a beautiful, modern, and atmospheric holiday home. Everything is neat and clean, and the house is fully equipped. You feel right at home immediately. The owners are also incredibly kind and hospitable, which makes the stay even more pleasant. There is plenty for the children to do on and around the park, ensuring no one gets bored. There are also plenty of fun excursions to be made in the surrounding area, such as Drouwenerzand, Duinen Zathe, and De Drentse Koe Speelboerderij. There is plenty to discover for young and old. We once again thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, the beautiful surroundings, and of course, Cube 25 itself. It has started to feel a bit like our regular holiday destination in Drenthe. Thank you for the wonderful holiday and your hospitality! We will gladly come back here again!
