There are also many possibilities for a day out: walk meters above the ground on the Boomkroonpad, admire ancient dolmens in Borger and immerse yourself in the sweeping history of camp Westerbork. Go shopping for a day in Emmen, Hoogeveen or Assen and visit a good restaurant in one of the characteristic surrounding villages Schoonoord, Exloo or Odoorn.

Unfortunately, due to the heat and a broken air conditioner, we left the same day. A big round of applause for the owner who went to great lengths to make us as comfortable as possible!! But with a baby, we had to make the choice to go home. You will definitely see us back because the park and the accommodations are fantastic!
