The modern bathroom with shower is complemented by a separate toilet, making your stay even more practical. Thanks to the single-story layout, everything is well-organized and easily accessible. Through the French doors, you reach the garden with a terrace and garden furniture, where you can enjoy peace and privacy.

The holiday park in Ruinen is situated directly on expansive nature reserves and is a great base for hiking and cycling through the Drenthe landscape, with villages and heathlands within easy reach. A visit to Hoogeveen, Meppel, or Steenwijk is also definitely worthwhile!

The village of Ruinen in Drenthe is located next to the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park: a national park full of interesting flora and fauna and the ideal environment for cycling and walking tours. The sheep flock is definitely worth a visit. Every morning, the huge flock of sheep departs from the pen onto the Dwingelose moor and returns at the end of the day, a special spectacle to behold. Want to delve into the fascinating history of this region? Then visit the Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork, Museum Village Orvelte or see one of the many dolmens in the area. Want a great day out with the kids? Visit the Slagharen amusement park or go swimming in the Blauwe Meer in summer.
