Modern chalet for 4 persons with hot tub on a wooded park in Ruinen

Feel the daily rush slip away from you as soon as you arrive in this atmospheric lodge, surrounded by the greenery of De Wiltzangh Holiday Park. The Heideborg Lodge offers everything you need to really unwind. Enjoy long evenings in your own hot tub on the terrace, listening to the rustling of leaves and birdsong. Inside, a comfortable and modern house with natural tones, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice seating area where you can relax together awaits you. The location on holiday park De Wiltzangh - in the middle of National Park Dwingelderveld - completes the picture. You can walk straight onto the heathland, hire an e-bike for a trip through the Drenthe countryside or cool down in the summer in the outdoor swimming pool. Also fun: discover Giethoorn or Meppel for a cultural or culinary outing.

Location and surroundings

Ruinen, Drenthe

The village of Ruinen in Drenthe is located next to the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park: a national park full of interesting flora and fauna and the ideal environment for cycling and walking tours. The sheep flock is definitely worth a visit. Every morning, the huge flock of sheep departs from the pen onto the Dwingelose moor and returns at the end of the day, a special spectacle to behold. Want to delve into the fascinating history of this region? Then visit the Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork, Museum Village Orvelte or see one of the many dolmens in the area. Want a great day out with the kids? Visit the Slagharen amusement park or go swimming in the Blauwe Meer in summer.

Everything was truly beautiful! The accommodation itself was very well-maintained and clean, with everything you could need. A barbecue would have been great for accommodations like this, but the playground and play areas for children are a bit lacking.
