Cosy chalet for 4 persons with smart TV on a wooded park in Ruinen

Looking for a comfortable base in the middle of nature? This holiday home offers exactly what you need: peace, space and everything at hand. Not too big, not too small - just practical, complete and atmospheric.

Inside, it is bright and warmly decorated. In the cosy living room, you can enjoy long evenings with a good book or your favourite series on the smart TV. Outside on the terrace, drink your first cup of coffee with views of the greenery.

The location on Vakantiepark De Wiltzangh - in the middle of National Park Dwingelderveld - completes the picture. You can walk straight onto the heathland, hire an e-bike for a trip through the Drenthe countryside or cool off in the summer in the outdoor pool. Also fun: discover Giethoorn or Meppel for a cultural or culinary outing.

Location and surroundings

Ruinen, Drenthe
The village of Ruinen in Drenthe is located next to the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park: a national park full of interesting flora and fauna and the ideal environment for cycling and walking tours. The sheep flock is definitely worth a visit. Every morning, the huge flock of sheep departs from the pen onto the Dwingelose moor and returns at the end of the day, a special spectacle to behold. Want to delve into the fascinating history of this region? Then visit the Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork, Museum Village Orvelte or see one of the many dolmens in the area. Want a great day out with the kids? Visit the Slagharen amusement park or go swimming in the Blauwe Meer in summer.
