In Ouderkerk aan den IJssel, in the middle of the Green Heart of the Netherlands, near the cities Gouda and Rotterdam, you can rent this wonderful, luxurious holiday house for eight persons with magnificent view of the polder. The holiday house is situated on the property of an age-old monumental farm with “Lakenvelder” cows and fruit orchard.
On the ground floor this holiday house is fully wheelchair accessible and – friendly. It is characterized by wide doors, no thresholds, a high-low kitchen, a raised toilet, folding brackets, wheelchair accessible sink and high-low bed. There are charging points for e-bikes or –scooters.
All adjustments are invisible. If desired, we can arrange various means and caregivers for you as well, thanks to our close cooperation with a health institution.The holiday house has a regional, rural style and a wonderful design, amongst others with art. A perfect atmosphere to enjoy a lovely holiday, not only for seniors or disabled people, but for families or friends as well.
On the property you can fish and garden. Through a paved path you can reach the polder for a nice walk or cycle tour on private property. After 500m you will reach a picnic area amidst “Lakenvelder” cows, sheep and meadow birds in the polder of the Krimpenerwaard.
In the surrounding area you can walk, cycle or ride a scooter in forest or polder. There is a subtropical swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool, a recreation pond, a golf court, a midget golf court, a tennis court and a surf spot.

You can visit a tea garden or a regional museum, enjoy ball shooting or play farm games. You can participate in various workshops such as: cheese making, painting, making bonbons and pottery. In approx. 30 minutes you can reach the famous cheese market in Gouda, the well-known cube houses in Rotterdam or one of the mills in Kinderdijk. The silverware places and ateliers in Schoonhoven are definitely worth a visit, just like the historical town centre of Dordrecht and the adjoining nature reserve De Biesbosch. In approx. 45 minutes you can reach the beach in Scheveningen or Hoek van Holland.

Through the front door you can reach the hall and the comfortably furnished living room, amongst others with sofa and a couple of armchairs, satellite-TV, DVD-player, CD-player, dining table, books and games. Luxurious kitchen amongst others with induction hob, Senseo coffee-maker, mixer, toaster, fridge/freezer, Senseo coffee-maker, juicer and electric kettle.
On the ground floor you will find two bedrooms with two single beds each. Bathroom, accessible through one of the bedrooms and through the hall, with shower, washbasin and toilet.Through a staircase you will reach the first floor. On the landing you will find a washing machine and a drier, which you can rent, if desired. Third bedroom with four single beds. Bathroom with rain shower, washbasin and toilet.All beds are long (2,10m) and have single duvets.
The holiday house offers central heating, a blow-drier, a washing machine, a drier, free internet, a child’s bed and a highchair.

Outside, at the back of the accommodation, you will find a large terrace inclusive of garden furniture. Around the accommodation you will find several seats. There are plenty of parking places.
