The village is located near the National Park Drents Friese Wold. The nature lover can indulge here. There are several bicycle and hiking trails in this beautiful area with moors, forests and small lakes. The experience trail Hoogersmilde is also a stone's throw from the residence. You can also visit the village of Appelscha with the necessary stores and restaurants and, of course, amusement park Duinen Zathe.
