Detached renovated 4-person bungalow with garden at walking distance from forest and beach
This detached bungalow is in a wonderful location: in a quiet neighbourhood and at walking distance from forest, sea and beach. Oostkapelle's beautiful sandy beach has been voted the cleanest beach in the Netherlands several times. At the various beach pavilions, you can enjoy a delicious snack and drink with a view of the sea, always something to see! Many excursions are possible from the house. For example, cycle through the dunes to the cosy seaside resort Domburg and then over the sea dyke at Westkapelle to Zoutelande. In the nature reserve De Manteling near Oostkapelle, you can make lovely walks. Fancy a day of shopping? Then the historic city of Middelburg is definitely recommended. In short: everything is close by for a versatile holiday at the beach.
'De Distel' is equipped for four people with a living room, separate kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and a separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with: induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, filter coffee maker, kettle and a small dishwasher. There is one bedroom with a double bed and one with two single beds. There are two bathrooms. One with walk-in shower and double sink. The other bathroom has a shower, towel radiator and washbasin. In the lovely garden, sheltered by greenery, there is a large table with six chairs. Furthermore, a high chair, washing machine, private parking and WIFI are available.

More and more tourists, bathers and day-trippers know how to find Oostkapelle. And that is only natural: in this beautiful spot on the coast everything comes together. Everything you need can be found in the village: restaurants, supermarkets, bicycle rental, weekly summer markets and various stores. What makes Oostkapelle so beautiful is that it has a direct connection to the beach and the surrounding nature (Oranjezon and De Manteling) where you can enjoy cycling or walking. Various events are organized throughout the year in Oostkapelle and there are also many opportunities for days out: visit Kasteel Westhove or Deltapark Neeltje Jans, for example.

As a recommendation: a broom and/or dustpan and brush would be nice. The electric ventilation in the toilet and bathroom switches on for no reason at random times. That is disturbing in the evening and at night.
Als aanbeveling: een bezem en/of stoffer en blik zou fijn zijn. De elektrische ventilatie in het toilet en badkamer gaat op random tijden zomaar aan. Dat is ‘s avonds en ‘s nachts storend.

Thank you for your stay and tips! There is a dustpan and brush in the storage room; you may have overlooked them. The ventilation in the toilet and bathroom is linked to the lights and switches on automatically when the lights are turned on. We understand that this may be perceived as annoying, but unfortunately, it cannot be changed.

In de berging ligt een blik en veger; mogelijk heeft u deze over het hoofd gezien. De ventilatie in het toilet en de badkamer is gekoppeld aan het licht en gaat automatisch aan wanneer het licht wordt ingeschakeld. We begrijpen dat dit als vervelend kan worden ervaren, maar helaas is dit niet aan te passen.

My sister and I had a wonderful time from November 18th to 22nd, 2025, in the "Wonderful Cottage" ZE 721: the cottage is spacious and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use. We had a bit of trouble finding the best way to set the heating, but in the end, it worked perfectly. All praise!
Mijn zus en ik hebben heerlijke dagen gehad van 18 t/m 22 november 2025 in het "Heerlijk huisje" ZE 721: het huisje is lekker ruim en gezellig ingericht. De keuken is erg compleet qua apparatuur en makkelijk in gebruik.
Het was even zoeken naar de beste manier om de verwarming in te stellen maar die voldeed uiteindelijk uitstekend. Alle lof.

Very comfortable beds and sofa, cozy decor, restaurant within walking distance, walk to the beach, quiet surroundings. Warm slippers are a must, the floor was very cold (in November). The combination oven is too small for proper cooking, but it's a good excuse to eat out. The bathroom was clean, but the floor was dusty, and there were stains on the bedding.
Zeer comfortabele bedden en bank, gezellige inrichting, eetgelegenheid op wandelafstand, te voet naar het strand, rustige omgeving. Warme sloffen een must, vloer was erg koud (in November). Combi oven is te klein om echt mee te koken, maar goed excuus om uit eten te gaan. Het sanitair was goed schoon, de vloer was stoffig, vlekken op beddengoed.
