5-person 1930s holiday home in Oostkapelle, close to forest, dune and beach
Looking for peace, space, the beach, and privacy? You'll find it all at the detached holiday home "De Primula." A charming 1930s house, restored with modern comforts. Situated in the most beautiful and peaceful part of Oostkapelle, close to forests, dunes, sea, and beach. This beautiful sandy beach has been voted the cleanest beach in the Netherlands several times.
'De Primula' has a garden (450 m²) at the front and back, offering complete privacy and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sun and tranquility. French doors from the living room open onto the garden. The living room, with its bay window, also features a fireplace where you can enjoy cozy autumn and winter evenings or play a game in the dining area. The neat, separate kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, gas cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso machine, filter coffee maker, Senseo coffee machine, and kettle.
The first floor features a bathroom and three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds (with twin mattresses and duvets) and a linen closet, and one bedroom has a single bed. The comfortable Auping beds ensure a good night's sleep! The bathroom was completely renovated in 2026 and has a lovely walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. There's a separate toilet downstairs. Other amenities include a high chair, a washing machine, and parking for several cars.
The large garden offers plenty of space and privacy. Enjoy the peace and quiet of a summer day here, or relax on the terrace with a delicious evening meal. The house is close to cycling routes and hiking trails in the Mantelinge region.

More and more tourists, bathers and day-trippers know how to find Oostkapelle. And that is only natural: in this beautiful spot on the coast everything comes together. Everything you need can be found in the village: restaurants, supermarkets, bicycle rental, weekly summer markets and various stores. What makes Oostkapelle so beautiful is that it has a direct connection to the beach and the surrounding nature (Oranjezon and De Manteling) where you can enjoy cycling or walking. Various events are organized throughout the year in Oostkapelle and there are also many opportunities for days out: visit Kasteel Westhove or Deltapark Neeltje Jans, for example.

We booked this holiday home for the second time this year. A new bathroom, guest toilet, and heating system were installed this year. So far, so good. Unfortunately, the heating system was most likely not checked and switched on before our arrival. We found a cold house and cold water.
Wir hatten dieses Ferienhaus dieses Jahr zum zweiten Mal gebucht.
Es wurde dieses Jahr ein neues Bad , Gästetoilette und ein neues Heizsystem eingebaut. Soweit alles gut. Leider wurde die Heizung vor unserem Einzug sehr wahrscheinlich nicht überprüft und eingeschaltet. Wir fanden ein kaltes Haus vor und kaltes Wasser.

Very nice, clean house, well-equipped, straightforward booking process, comfortable beds/chairs/sofa. Good location for the beach and local shops. - Due to a gas leak, we had to move to another house at short notice. But even this was handled expertly by the Heerlijke Huisjes team, even outside of reception hours!
sehr schönes, sauberes Haus, gute Ausstattung, unkomplizierte Abwicklung, Betten/Stühle/Sofa bequem. Gute Lage zum Strand und Einkauf im Ort. - Wegen eines Schadens in der Gasleitung mussten wir spontan in ein anderes Haus umziehen. Aber auch das wurde vom Team Heerlijke Huisjes auch außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption souverän gemanagt!

We had a wonderful holiday in this holiday home . It wasn't our first. We were pleased to find a teapot this time; we had brought our own. A bedside lamp on each side of the bed would be a nice addition. Currently, there's only one for the double beds. Otherwise, we would love to come back again.
Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Es war nicht unser erster.
Gefreut haben wir uns, dass es diesmal eine Teekanne gab. Wir hatten extra eine mitgebracht.
Wünschenswert wäre eine Nachttischlampe an jeder Bettseite. Bisher gibt es bei den Doppelbetten nur eine.
Ansonsten werden wir sehr gerne wieder kommen.
Gefreut haben wir uns, dass es diesmal eine Teekanne gab. Wir hatten extra eine mitgebracht.
