5-person 1930s holiday home in Oostkapelle, close to forest, dune and beach
Looking for peace, space, the beach, and privacy? You'll find it all at the detached holiday home "De Primula." A charming 1930s house, restored with modern comforts. Situated in the most beautiful and peaceful part of Oostkapelle, close to forests, dunes, sea, and beach. This beautiful sandy beach has been voted the cleanest beach in the Netherlands several times.
'De Primula' has a garden (450 m²) at the front and back, offering complete privacy and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sun and tranquility. French doors from the living room open onto the garden. The living room, with its bay window, also features a fireplace where you can enjoy cozy autumn and winter evenings or play a game in the dining area. The neat, separate kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, gas cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso machine, filter coffee maker, Senseo coffee machine, and kettle.
The first floor features a bathroom and three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds (with twin mattresses and duvets) and a linen closet, and one bedroom has a single bed. The comfortable Auping beds ensure a good night's sleep! The bathroom was completely renovated in 2026 and has a lovely walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. There's a separate toilet downstairs. Other amenities include a high chair, a washing machine, and parking for several cars.
The large garden offers plenty of space and privacy. Enjoy the peace and quiet of a summer day here, or relax on the terrace with a delicious evening meal. The house is close to cycling routes and hiking trails in the Mantelinge region.

More and more tourists, bathers and day-trippers know how to find Oostkapelle. And that is only natural: in this beautiful spot on the coast everything comes together. Everything you need can be found in the village: restaurants, supermarkets, bicycle rental, weekly summer markets and various stores. What makes Oostkapelle so beautiful is that it has a direct connection to the beach and the surrounding nature (Oranjezon and De Manteling) where you can enjoy cycling or walking. Various events are organized throughout the year in Oostkapelle and there are also many opportunities for days out: visit Kasteel Westhove or Deltapark Neeltje Jans, for example.

This was our fourth stay at De Primula, and that speaks volumes. We always have a wonderful time in this house and the surrounding area. The house is equipped with almost every comfort; the only things we missed were a standing clothes rack and a coffee table. The new windows at the rear (both upstairs and downstairs) made it even more comfortable.
Dit was ons vierde verblijf in De Primula en dat zegt natuurlijk al heel veel. Wij hebben het altijd geweldig naar ons zin in dit huis en in deze omgeving. Het huis is van vrijwel alle gemakken voorzien, enkel een staand wasrek en een salontafel misten we. De nieuwe ramen aan de achterzijde (boven en beneden) maakten het nog comfortabeler.

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was very well-equipped; the only thing we missed was a citrus juicer. Beautiful view and comfortable beds. Cozy living room. We were close to the beach and a beach bar, Oost, which is open every day, even in October, at 11 a.m. on Monday. Unfortunately, we had to leave at 10 a.m. on Monday, which was very early, and arriving at 3 p.m. on Saturday was late.
We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad. Erg compleet huis, we misten alleen een citruspers. Heel mooi uitzicht, en goede bedden. Gezellige woonkamer. We zaten dicht bij het strand en een strandbar Oost die iedere dag geopend is ook in oktober op maandagochtend 11 uur. Helaas moesten we er ma om 10 uur uit, erg vroeg en op za om 15 uur erin is laat 🥺
