Beautiful 6 person farmhouse with large garden and open view in Friesland
This spacious six-person farmhouse is located in Noardburgum in Friesland. The holiday home is tucked away on the edge of the village of Feanwalden in the scenically very diverse area of the Northeast Friesland region. This region boasts a beautiful and very varied landscape where cycling, walking, and boating are a true experience. The front part of the former farmhouse stands on two hectares of private land, where the owners (living in the barn) maintain an organic self-harvest garden. Go canoeing through the 'Het Butenfjild' nature reserve, walk through the 'De Houtwiel' or 'De SippenFinnen' marshlands, or take a bike ride through the charming hedgerow landscape characterized by tree-lined embankments. This spacious farmhouse is the ideal base for a wide range of sights and activities. For your meals, you can harvest your own lettuce from the garden, and for a cup of tea, you can pick an herb of your choice. In the evening, you can make a campfire in the meadow, and the children can entertain themselves for hours on the grounds with the two trampolines, a soccer goal, a volleyball net, and a small survival course. You are welcome!
This spacious six-person farmhouse adjoins the owners' barn, who live at the back of the property. The home offers unobstructed views all around and plenty of space to sit. You enter the home via a private entrance, featuring a generous eat-in kitchen and a living room consisting of two seating areas. Here you will find, among other things, a large dining table, a comfortable sofa, and several chairs. There is also a television, which can only be operated via your own smartphone or tablet. Additionally, there are several beanbag chairs for use both indoors and outdoors. From the living room, there are unobstructed views of a meadow and the organic self-harvest garden. The kitchen features a ceramic hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and a large American-style refrigerator. A coffee maker and kettle are provided. Via a small hallway leading to the barn, there is access on the ground floor to a toilet and a very spacious bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Upstairs are three large bedrooms, with space for two people in two and one for three. One bedroom has a double bed, one has two single beds, and the last bedroom has three single beds. Outside, you have a spacious garden with garden furniture where you can enjoy the lovely view and the children can play. You can park your car in the yard, and there is also a bicycle shed available. Vriendelijke eigenaar!
Het huisje is op bepaalde punten wel wat gedateerd. We vonden het niet overal even schoon. Beddengoed kan wel wat frisser.
