Nearby, there's also a beautiful nature park with unique flora and fauna, as well as ancient fossils and shark teeth.

Beach, dunes and beautiful vegetation alternate in the area around Nieuwvliet, which is also the habitat for numerous bird species and a wealth of special plants. As a nature lover, you will certainly be able to enjoy the beautiful nature and birds in this special part of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. And are several bicycle routes through the beautiful surroundings. Nieuwvliet has some nice stores, including a bakery and a few cafes and restaurants. There is plenty to do in the Nieuwvliet area, so all beach activities are possible, you can even paraglide in Nieuwvliet-Bad! For a day of shopping, head to Sluis, but even Belgian Bruges is not far.

We were there with three generations and our dog. The house was very well equipped, and we had plenty of space! The terrace, the windows, and the general outdoor area were not very well maintained. This spoiled the wonderful view of the lake. The beds were great! There were no guest towels in the bathroom. You should bring them with you. The pool was fantastic.
Wir waren mit 3 Generationen und Hund dort. Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet und wir hatten genug Platz! Die Terrasse,die Fenster und der allgemeine Außenbereich waren nicht sehr gepflegt. Das hat die wunderbare Aussicht auf den See getrübt. Die Betten waren super! Im WC fehlten Gästehandtücher. Die sollte man mitnehmen. Das Schwimmbad war genial.

The house was what we expected. A few tips: shelves in the bathroom for toiletries, and a shelf in the shower for shower soap would be helpful. There wasn't a trash can in every bathroom, which would also be helpful. The kitchen was perfectly fine. The grocery store is inadequate; by 10 a.m., there was no choice of regular bread, and no fresh vegetables.
Het huis was naar onze verwachting, enkele tips: rekjes in de badkamer om toiletzakjes op te plaatsen, ook rekje in de douche voor douchezeep zou handig zijn. Er was niet in elke badkamer een vuilbakje, ook dat zou handig zijn. De keuken was wel heel oké. Het winkeltje is ontoereikend, om 10u al geen keuze meer in gewoon brood, geen verse groenten
