The town of Niedersfeld offers many opportunities for hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, and swimming, boating, or waterskiing on Lake Hillebachsee. There is a large supermarket in Niedersfeld. Restaurants and shops are plentiful in Winterberg, seven kilometers away. Niedersfeld has a small ski area with a restaurant, but you can also take the free bus to the Skiliftkarussell in Winterberg.
