Less than six kilometres from cosy Winterberg, you will find this picturesque place: Neuastenberg, located in the nature-rich Sauerland. Neuastenberg boasts ski area Postwiese which, after Skiliftkarussell Winterberg, is the snowiest ski area in the region. Fortunately, the area around Winterberg also has plenty to offer winter sports enthusiasts: you will find only 126 lifts and 88 kilometres of slopes. Perfect for both the beginner and the professional. By the way, also in summer the beautiful mountains, many lakes, historical villages and cities, culinary possibilities, varied landscapes and the many hiking and cycling routes are a real treat and absolutely worth your time.
