From this four-person holiday home you have a beautiful view over the water and features a jetty. This accommodation guarantees the ultimate peace and quiet you deserve during your relaxing holiday. Launch your boat and enjoy the soothing lapping of the water, rent a sloop and cast your fishing rod, or relax with a good book on the spacious terrace. The small village of Nes is located in the province of Friesland, close to Heerenveen and near Akkrum, about 20 kilometres south-east of Leeuwarden. This region offers excellent opportunities for all kinds of water sports activities, such as sailing, fishing and canoeing. The Sneekermeer lake, located nearby, is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. Here you can really enjoy the watery environment.
Layout
The living room has a raised seating area so that even inside you have a view of the water. There is also a dining area and a wood-burning stove. The open kitchen is equipped with an electronic hob, combi microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and a filter coffee machine. There are two bedrooms with a double bed. The bathroom comprises a shower, washbasin and toilet. Outside there is a large furnished terrace and a private jetty.

- The 'Pean outdoor area' is car-free, you can park your car in the central parking lot. From there you can take a luggage cart to your Lodge. There are also electric charging stations in the parking lot.

Location and surroundings
The village of Nes is located in north-eastern Friesland, about 12 kilometres above Dokkum. It is very close to the Wadden Sea, a great place to enjoy the coast. Anyway, this part of Friesland is very beautiful to discover on foot or by bike. In Nes itself, the Johanneskerk is a place of interest. This striking brick church from the 13th century is an official national monument. The cemetery around it is an allied cemetery. Nes is also the birthplace of well-known children's book author Nynke van Hichtum. There is a bust of the writer in the village.
