The park offers various facilities, including an outdoor pool, indoor playground, bicycle rentals, and a restaurant. The Needse Achterveld nature reserve is easily accessible from the park. Several hiking and cycling routes crisscross this beautiful nature reserve. The area is known for its castles, which you can visit. The town centers of Neede, Winterswijk, Zutphen, Hengelo, or Enschede are just half an hour away.

In the surroundings of Neede, you can enjoy hiking, cycling, fishing and swimming. In winter, you can swim in Neede's tropical swimming pool and in summer you can take a refreshing dip in recreational lake Hambroek in Borculo. The landscape of Neede is a typical coulisse landscape: rustic country roads along fields and arable land, interspersed with wooded banks, streams, forest fens and wild lands with heaths and pines. You can take absolutely wonderful cycling and hiking trips. For a day out, visit Farmhouse Museum De Lebbenbrugge, the Fire and Storm Disaster Museum, the Crystal Museum or one of the many castles in the area. Certainly Ruurlo Castle and De Wildenborch Castle are worth a visit.

The Nutshell is a great place to stay. The facilities are very nice, and being allowed to use the scooters was a real plus.
The Nutshell is een geweldige plek om te verblijven. De faciliteiten zijn heel fijn en het gebruik mogen maken van de scooters was echt een pluspunt.

The design of the accommodation is very nice. The layout with the sauna, outdoor spa, and the bed that lowers are real plus points and a reason to experience this cozy and beautiful place.
De vorm van de accommodatie is erg leuk. De opzet met de sauna, buitenspa en het bed wat omlaag kan zijn echt pluspunten en een rede om deze gezellige en mooie ervaring mee te maken.
