Medemblik is a picturesque town with old houses, narrow streets and picturesque facades. Medemblik and its surroundings offer a wealth of opportunities for relaxation: beautiful walking and cycling routes, the old cozy city center with many terraces and the authentic market on Saturdays in the summer months. Also visit Castle Radboud Medemblik, the Dutch Steam Engine Museum, the Zuiderzee Museum or Sprookjeswonderland. The city of Alkmaar is also worth a visit, every Friday you can see the famous cheese market. Nature and the many recreational areas in the area are ideal not only for sailors, but also for surfers, swimmers, sunbathers and anglers.

The location is simply wonderful, right on the water – a paradise for anglers 🎣. The swimming pool is a great way to unwind 😃. The house 🏡 is fully equipped and spacious. The owner is very friendly and, all in all, highly recommended. We felt very comfortable and will definitely recommend it. Thank you for this fantastic holiday! 😃

We enjoyed two weeks with our sons, aged 12 and 16. The house is spacious and fully equipped. Lovely beds and good window screens to keep out mosquitoes. Outside there is a jetty where we could moor our small boat and fished for hours. In bad weather there is an indoor pool, and in good weather you can jump off the jetty behind the house.
