Lieren, Gelderland
The Gelderland village of Lieren is a lovely destination for those who love nature and enjoy walking or cycling. In nearby Apeldoorn, there is plenty to see and do. Het Loo Palace is a must-see, where you can see how the royal family lived and worked there. The Apenheul is also great fun, with over 35 species of monkeys, some of which even roam loose. Children's amusement park Julianatoren is a treat for the youngest, where they can enjoy more than 6o attractions. Nature lovers can indulge in National Park De Hoge Veluwe, which is nearby.

We thought it was a beautiful park and a lovely lodge, and our fenced garden was perfect for our dogs, with plenty of space for them! Although it was indicated otherwise, the noise disturbance was quite intense, especially the laundry room being demolished with excavators; that wasn't pleasant and went on for a long time! Once the park is fully complete, we will definitely come back.

All the new chalets are very beautifully landscaped; it is a real experience walking through the park. There were construction works underway to expand the park; we were aware of this and it was manageable.
