Spacious 6-person holiday home with lovely garden, close to the seaport in Lauwersoog
This beautiful holiday home sleeps six and has been fully renovated. The spacious house boasts a lovely garden. Situated near the Lauwersmeer waterway and the Lauwersoog seaport, this holiday home is the perfect base for water sports enthusiasts. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling, swimming, and boating. Take a day trip to the Wadden Island of Schiermonnikoog or visit the Pieterburen seal sanctuary. The harbor of Lauwersoog is a sight to behold, and for shopping, head to Dokkum, just 12 kilometers from Lauwersoog, or Groningen, about 40 kilometers from Lauwersoog.
The modern living room features a sitting area with a corner sofa, two armchairs, and a television. Windows offer a view of the beautiful garden. The dining area has a dining table with six chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, combination microwave, filter coffee maker, and an induction hob. The house has three bedrooms: two with double beds, and the third with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower, vanity, and toilet. Outside, you'll find a beautiful, fully fenced garden with a pond and plenty of greenery. The house will be fitted with insect screens for its windows and doors in December 2025. The large terrace offers ample space and is equipped with garden furniture. There is an electric awning for warm days. Two cars can be parked in the driveway.

Then go mudflat hiking in the unique Wadden area and see for yourself what the Wadden Sea looks like without water. For a nice day of shopping, you should visit the beautiful fortified town of Dokkum: here, in addition to a great day of shopping and museum visits, you can also enjoy a delicious meal.

The house is fully furnished; we only missed a mirror in the bedroom with two single beds. The fitted sheet and bottom sheet for one bed weren't clean. That's not nice. Despite this, we would rent it again, especially because of the enclosed garden and several seating areas.
Huis volledig ingericht, we misten alleen een spiegeltje in de slaapkamer met twee 1 persoonsbedden. Het hoeslaken en bij 1 bed onderlaken niet schoon. Dat is niet fijn. Ondanks dat zouden we het nogmaals wel willen huren. Ook door de omheinde tuin en verschillende zitjes.

Beautiful house, fully equipped, great garden, completely fenced. We and our dog felt very comfortable. Lots of nature, but not much for sightseeing. There's no sandy beach nearby, but the island of Schiermonnikoog is an absolute dream beach!
Wunderschönes Haus, komplett Ausgestattet, toller Garten, komplett eingezäunt. Wir mit Hund haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Viel Natur, aber weniger für Besichtigungen. Sand-Strand keiner in der Nähe, aber die Insel Schiermonnikoog ein absoluter Traumstrand!

Spacious house with a beautiful enclosed garden. It was great that the beds were made upon arrival. A lovely shower. Housekeeping seemed okay at first, but there was a lot of cobwebs. A large, fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator. When we were there, there was a lot of construction going on in the street, so from 7 a.m. onwards there were construction workers, a crane, etc.
Ruime woning met mooie afgesloten tuin. Heel fijn dat de bedden opgemaakt zijn bij aankomst. Fijne douche. Schoonmaak op het eerste oog oké, maar erg veel spinnerag. Grote keuken met alles er op en er aan en een ruime koelkast. Toen wij er waren werd er volop verbouwd in de straat, dus vanaf 7 uur bouwvakkers, hijskraan etc.
