Spacious 6-person holiday home with lovely garden, close to the seaport in Lauwersoog
You'll be staying in this spacious and fully renovated holiday home for six people, beautifully situated near the Lauwersmeer lake and the harbor of Lauwersoog. The modern living room offers a comfortable seating area with a corner sofa, two armchairs, and a television. Air conditioning makes it a pleasant place to stay all day long. Large windows provide plenty of light and offer views of the beautifully landscaped garden. Adjacent is the dining area with a dining table for six and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, induction cooktop, fridge-freezer, combination microwave, and filter coffee maker.
The house has three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with bunk beds. The bathroom with shower and toilet was renovated in early 2026 and is practical and fresh. Outside, you'll enjoy a fully enclosed garden with plenty of greenery, a pond, and a spacious terrace with garden furniture and an electric awning. There is parking for two cars in the driveway.
The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling, swimming, and boating. Take a day trip to Schiermonnikoog, visit the seal sanctuary in Pieterburen, or go shopping in Dokkum or Groningen. A versatile base for a relaxing stay by the water.

It really was a lovely cottage. The air conditioning was a godsend during the heatwave. Furthermore, the cottage was equipped with all necessities. The TV with Chrome controls sometimes gave problems. And a lovely and beautifully landscaped garden. Plenty of spots to be found in the shade (and peace).
Het was echt een heerlijk huisje. De. Airco was een uitkomst tijdens de hittegolf. Verder was het huisje van alle noodzakelijks voorzien. De tv met Chrome?-besturing gaf soms problemen. En een heerlijke en mooi ingerichte tuin. Genoeg plekjes in de schaduw (en rust) te vinden.

Lovely house with a beautiful, enclosed, flower-filled garden and a small wood nearby. The bed in the master bedroom needs replacing (it creaks terribly with every movement). Otherwise, a nice place for both people and dogs. Also, take a nice day trip by boat to Schiermonnikoog.
Heerlijk huis met een afgesloten mooie bloemrijke tuin en een bosje in de buurt. Het bed in de master is aan vervanging toe (kraakt ontzettend bij iedere beweging). Verder een lekkere plek voor mens en hond. Ga lekker ook een dagje met de boot naar Schiermonnikoog.
