Detached 4-person vacation home near Lauwersmeer
This spacious vacation home is located in Lauwersoog, on a small park in the beautiful Lauwersmeer area. The house can accommodate four people and is an ideal base for enjoying nature. The Lauwersmeer is only an 11-minute walk away, making it easy to enjoy the water and various water sports activities. For hiking and cycling enthusiasts, the area is also great, with several routes and trails to explore. You can shop in Dokkum just 12 kilometres from Lauwersoog, a beautiful historic town with a centre where you can do great shopping and walking. It is even easy to reach by bike via a beautiful route along the sea.
The spacious living room has a television, free Wifi and a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, among other things. There are two bedrooms which both have two single beds. One of the bedrooms also has a sink. The bathroom has a shower and a sink, and there is a separate toilet. In the storage room there is a washing machine. Outside there is a terrace with patio furniture and a spacious garden. Parking is available near the house.

Good contact with the manager. It looked neat. Except for the living room, it was a bit cramped, but you can't change that. We came for the peace and quiet because our dog is afraid of fireworks, and we found that...
Goed contact met de beheerder. Het zag er keurig uit. Behoudens de woonkamer was het krapjes, maar ja, dat kun je niet veranderen. Wij kwamen voor de rust i.v.m. de hond die bang is voor vuurwerk en die hebben wij gevonden...

Thank you for your review! We hope to expand the house a bit in a few years, but we haven't reached that point yet. For now, it remains a simple and peaceful stay in a beautiful setting.

Nice little spot, but there's little space in the kitchen area to put anything while cooking. The bathroom is small and has a sink and a shower. You can't put anything there that you don't want to get wet. That's inconvenient. There are no hanging places in the smallest bedroom.

The shower is very small and can only be used with the door open. There were problems with the TV and internet, which made these unavailable, but the owner compensated us. The cottage is outdated, and the bedrooms are very small with little closet space. The Lauwersmeer and Wadden Sea area is beautiful.
Douche is erg klein en douchen is eigenlijk alleen mogelijk met de deur open. Er waren problemen met tv en internet waardoor dit niet beschikbaar was, eigenaar heeft hierin wel gecompenseerd. Huisje is verouderd, slaapkamers erg klein met weinig kastruimte. Omgeving Lauwersmeer en Waddenzee is prachtig.

A late response from us... Thanks for the feedback. We've now created more space by building a garden shed. This is phase 1 of the modernization, and we hope to expand it further in the coming years.
