4 person bungalow at the foot of the dunes
Bungalow 'Zonnewende' is located in the beautiful and quiet holiday park Vebenabos, at the foot of the dunes. The Vebenabos is the oldest holiday park on Walcheren, small-scale and in a wooded area. There is a small supermarket on the park. The beach is a few minutes walk away. Unique here is that the large seagoing vessels sail just beyond the coast. You can almost touch them.
Zonnewende has a spacious, bright living room with wood-burning stove and lockable kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee maker and kettle. There is a lovely, green garden (250m²) with terrace.
There are two bedrooms. One bedroom with two new (May 2022) comfortable Auping single beds, guaranteed a good night's sleep. The second bedroom has also been equipped with two new Auping single beds since February 2023. The bathroom, renovated in 2018, has a shower, sink and toilet.
There is also WIFI available, a high chair, a washing machine and you can park here for free.

Cottage in a beautiful setting, but in need of renovation. It is outdated and primitively furnished. Curtains torn, the fridge door does not open all the way, the kitchen cupboard door is hanging halfway off, the bedroom lamp has to be connected with an extension cord that is black with dirt, one shutter is almost falling off the wall, etc.
Huisje in een mooie omgeving, maar verdient een renovatie. Is verouderd en primitief ingericht.
Gordijnen stuk, koelkastdeur kan niet geheel geheel open, deur van de kast in de keuken hangt er half uit, lampje in slaapkamer met gekoppeld worden met een verlengsnoertje wat zwart is van het vuil, één luik valt bijna van de muur, enz.

Thank you for your stay. We would have liked to help you with the defects you are only reporting now. Some rubber seals are missing from the curtains; that is not broken. A handle on the shutter is indeed due for replacement, but it hangs properly without any issues. We are available 24/7 for this: we are happy to help you.

Voor jullie verblijf. We hadden u graag geholpen met mankementen die u nu pas doorgeeft. De gordijnen ontbreken wat rubbers, dat is niet kapot. Een hengsel van het luik is inderdaad aan vervanging toe, maar hangt netjes zonder zorgen. Hiervoor zijn we 24/7 bereikbaar: we helpen u graag.

Everything is a bit dated, but that's part of its charm :). It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very clean and tidy, lovely garden :). Generally speaking, the area isn't really suitable for children. There's no playground. The walk down the steps to the sea with a stroller is quite strenuous.
Alles ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber das macht den Charme aus :). Alles da, was man so für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Sehr sauber und ordentlich, toller Garten :).
Ganz allgemein ist das Areal für Kinder eher weniger geeignet. Es gibt keinen Spielplatz. Der Weg mit Kinderwagen über die Treppen zum Meer ist recht anstrengend.
