4 person bungalow at the foot of the dunes
Bungalow 'Zonnewende' is located in the beautiful and quiet holiday park Vebenabos, at the foot of the dunes. The Vebenabos is the oldest holiday park on Walcheren, small-scale and in a wooded area. There is a small supermarket on the park. The beach is a few minutes walk away. Unique here is that the large seagoing vessels sail just beyond the coast. You can almost touch them.
Zonnewende has a spacious, bright living room with wood-burning stove and lockable kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee maker and kettle. There is a lovely, green garden (250m²) with terrace.
There are two bedrooms. One bedroom with two new (May 2022) comfortable Auping single beds, guaranteed a good night's sleep. The second bedroom has also been equipped with two new Auping single beds since February 2023. The bathroom, renovated in 2018, has a shower, sink and toilet.
There is also WIFI available, a high chair, a washing machine and you can park here for free.

Koudekerke, Zeeland
With many cycling and hiking routes next door, you can explore the beautiful surroundings of Koudekerke in various ways. Among other things, you will find typical Walcheren villages and beautiful country roads. From Koudekerke runs a three-kilometer long Strandweg to Dishoek, which, because of its location at the foot of the dunes, is a real tourist attraction. This is a great contrast to rustic Koudekerke where you will find the necessary space and tranquility, but still be in the vicinity of many tourist activities. For example, typical Walcheren towns Veere and Zoutelande are definitely worth a visit. Would you like to spend a day shopping? Then visit the cozy Middelburg or Vlissingen.

What a surprise. Everything is there in the cottage. Everything, absolutely everything. The forest surrounding the cottage, a very natural setting. And then the beach so close by. A cottage to return to.
Wat een verrassing. Alles aanwezig in het huisje. Alles maar dan ook alles. Het bos rondom het huisje, zeer natuurlijke omgeving. En dan het strand zo dichtbij. Een huisje om weer naar terug te gaan.

We really enjoyed the accommodation and the surroundings. We also had very nice weather, although it was quite cold in the evenings and at night: we always sleep with a window open, but because we couldn't really warm up the bedroom during the day, we kept everything closed. The energy label of the house is probably not very high.
De accomodatie en de omgeving zijn ons zeer goed bevallen. We hadden ook heel mooi weer, al was het 's avonds en 's nachts nogal koud: we slapen altijd met een raam open maar omdat we de slaapkamer overdag niet echt opgewarmd kregen hebben we alles dicht gehouden. Het energielabel van het huis is waarschijnlijk niet heel hoog.

Lovely house in a beautiful location close to the beach. In the early season, you can stroll along the beach and through villages almost entirely on your own.
Heerlijk huis op een prachtige plek dicht bij het strand. Zo in het voorseizoen bijna in je eentje over het strand en door dorpjes slenteren.
