4 person bungalow at the foot of the dunes
Bungalow 'Zonnewende' is located in the beautiful and quiet holiday park Vebenabos, at the foot of the dunes. The Vebenabos is the oldest holiday park on Walcheren, small-scale and in a wooded area. There is a small supermarket on the park. The beach is a few minutes walk away. Unique here is that the large seagoing vessels sail just beyond the coast. You can almost touch them.
Zonnewende has a spacious, bright living room with wood-burning stove and lockable kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee maker and kettle. There is a lovely, green garden (250m²) with terrace.
There are two bedrooms. One bedroom with two new (May 2022) comfortable Auping single beds, guaranteed a good night's sleep. The second bedroom has also been equipped with two new Auping single beds since February 2023. The bathroom, renovated in 2018, has a shower, sink and toilet.
There is also WIFI available, a high chair, a washing machine and you can park here for free.

Koudekerke, Zeeland
With many cycling and hiking routes next door, you can explore the beautiful surroundings of Koudekerke in various ways. Among other things, you will find typical Walcheren villages and beautiful country roads. From Koudekerke runs a three-kilometer long Strandweg to Dishoek, which, because of its location at the foot of the dunes, is a real tourist attraction. This is a great contrast to rustic Koudekerke where you will find the necessary space and tranquility, but still be in the vicinity of many tourist activities. For example, typical Walcheren towns Veere and Zoutelande are definitely worth a visit. Would you like to spend a day shopping? Then visit the cozy Middelburg or Vlissingen.

The house is fine. The garden was a mess. Piles of autumn leaves. The walkways and terrace are full of weeds. After our complaint about this, a gardener was supposed to come. Someone came by with the lawnmower, drove over it a few times, and was gone again. Someone also came with a very small watering can containing something for the weeds.
Huis is prima. De tuin was een rommeltje. Bergen herfstbladeren. Looppaden en terras staat vol met onkruid. Na onze klacht hierover zou er een tuinman komen. Er kwam iemand langs met de grasmaaier, deze reed een paar keer erover en was weer weg. Ook kwam er iemand en met een heel klein gietertje met iets erin tegen het onkruid.

The property is situated in a very beautiful location. The immediate surroundings (garden, small terrace, paths) are not well-maintained. Odd jobs in and around the house are unfortunately not being kept up to date. Here, for example, the tap in the cellar can be screwed back in place with little effort. The door of the china cabinet is falling apart more and more because the defective hinge is not being repaired.
De faciliteit ligt heel mooi. De direkte omgeving (tuin, terrasje, paden) zijn niet versorgd. Klusjes in/om het huis zijn en worden jammer genoeg niet bijgehouden. Hier bv. de kraan in de keulen kan met weinig moeite worden vastgeschroevt. De deur vd porseleinkast gaat steeds meer kapot omdet het defekte scharnier niet word gerepareerd.

The holiday home is in a beautiful location. However, the holiday home is showing its age in places and some renovations would be desirable. The grounds could also be better maintained.
Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist wunderschön. Das Ferienhaus ist an der ein oder anderen Stelle in die Jahre gekommen und Erneuerung wäre wünschenswert. Die Außenanlagen dürften etwas gepflegter sein.
