Very cute chalet, but be aware: the small house doesn't have a fully fenced garden. There's a fenced terrace of 10 square meters, nothing more. No lounge set either. The location is outside of Julianadorp, next to the N9 and near a military airfield. It didn't bother us, but it's good to know. Unfortunately, there's a smelly canal directly behind the chalet.
Sehr süßes Chalet aber, vorsicht; das kleine Haus hat keinen vollständig umzäunten Garten. Eine umzäunte Terrasse von 10m2, mehr nicht. Auch kein Lounge-Set. Lage ist abseits von Julianadorp, neben der N9 und in Nähe eines Militärflughafen. Es hat uns nicht gestört, sollte man aber wissen. Leider ein stinkender Kanal direkt hinter dem Chalet.

Thank you for your review and the rating of 7. The chalet does indeed have a fully fenced private property. I simply asked you to keep the dog on a leash due to behavioral issues. This had nothing to do with the fence. There is also a seating area. Due to the bad weather, it wasn't outside during your stay. Of course, I would have gladly let you use it had the weather been better. The chalet is fully soundproofed, and the military airfield is about 4 km away. I'm glad to read that this didn't bother you. The ditch behind the chalet is cleaned and dredged approximately every ten years. Unfortunately, this maintenance work coincided with your stay. This can indeed cause temporary odors. I'm sorry that this happened during your holiday; the ditch doesn't usually cause any odor problems. It's a shame that these points affected your impression of the stay. Fortunately, I also read that you enjoyed a wonderful rest and that the location and the airport didn't otherwise bother you.
Vielen Dank für eure Bewertung und die Note 7. Das Chalet verfügt in der Tat über ein vollständig umzäuntes Privatgelände. Ich habe euch lediglich gebeten, den Hund wegen Verhaltensproblemen an der Leine zu führen. Dies hatte also nichts mit der Umzäunung zu tun. Außerdem ist durchaus eine Sitzgarnitur vorhanden. Aufgrund des schlechten Wetters stand diese während eures Aufenthalts nicht draußen. Bei besserem Wetter hätte ich euch diese natürlich gerne zur Nutzung überlassen. Das Chalet ist vollständig schallisoliert und der Militärflugplatz liegt gut 4 km entfernt. Es freut mich zu lesen, dass euch das nicht gestört hat. Der Graben hinter dem Chalet wird etwa alle zehn Jahre gereinigt und ausgebaggert. Leider fiel diese Wartungsmaßnahme genau auf Ihren Aufenthalt. Das kann vorübergehend tatsächlich zu Geruchsbelästigungen führen. Es tut mir leid, dass dies gerade während Ihres Urlaubs passiert ist; normalerweise verursacht der Graben keine Geruchsprobleme. Schade, dass diese Punkte Ihren Eindruck vom Aufenthalt beeinträchtigt haben. Glücklicherweise lese ich aber auch, dass ihr wunderbar zur Ruhe gekommen seid und dass euch die Lage und der Flughafen ansonsten nicht gestört haben.
