Idskenhuizen is a cosy village located on the Frisian Lakes. It is a real water sports village with its own harbour. From Idskenhuizen, you can sail onto the water in no time. Hire a sloop, sailboat or go supping and explore the area. Would you like to play golf? That is also possible in the area. If you want to spend a relaxing day fishing, or perhaps catch a sturgeon of over two metres, Outdoorpark Friesland is the place to be. You can also get active nearby, in the paintball arena. Take day trips to Joure, Sneek and the surrounding area. Plenty to do for everyone!
