Enjoy a relaxing stay in this comfortable 6-person lodge at Le Hameau de l'Ourthe in Houffalize. The lodge features three bedrooms and two modern bathrooms, both with showers. Location and surroundings

Houffalize, Belgium-Luxembourg
Houffalize is located in the heart of the Ardennes and forms, together with Bastogne and La Roche, the tourist triangle. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, horse riding or cycling along one of the many routes. During your stay, be sure to visit the town of La Roche, where you will find nice shops and terraces as well as a castle. Bastogne and Europe's smallest city, Durbuy, are also worth a visit. Are you more of a sporty type? The nearby river is an excellent place for kayaking or fishing. If you prefer to stay on dry land, you can participate in a survival trip, but you can also try mountain biking, quad biking, climbing and abseiling in this beautiful region.

Beautiful location amidst greenery. (C12) Trim the plants back a bit along the Ourthe. Then you would have a view of the river, which is possible given the geographical location. Ecolodge for 6 people. We were 2 and 2 dogs. (Normally we would have booked for 3 people, hence the request for 3 rooms.) The room with the double bed is too small. The view is a wall of sand. Think of ivy or some other greenery. I try to imagine staying there with 6 people. Where are you going to store all the equipment? The bunk beds are ideal for children. Simple bed and excellent mattress. The terrace, which can be enclosed, is also ideal. Outdoor table, chairs, and umbrella are fine. The chairs at the dining table cannot fit under the table but are very comfortable. The bathroom is well thought out. Kitchen very neat and sufficiently equipped. A pity to have to go to La Roche for breakfast. We solved it differently on the spot in Houffalize. We were there during a very quiet period, which suited us perfectly. Even though there was an event for bikers, we were not bothered by it at all. Everything was well maintained and excellently cleaned. Good and clear regulations. Perhaps mention an extra rule for closing the door (the handle). If we return, we will book a lodge for 4 people; I think the rooms are more spacious.
