Location and surroundings

Houffalize, Belgium-Luxembourg

Houffalize is located in the heart of the Ardennes and forms, together with Bastogne and La Roche, the tourist triangle. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, horse riding or cycling along one of the many routes. During your stay, be sure to visit the town of La Roche, where you will find nice shops and terraces as well as a castle. Bastogne and Europe's smallest city, Durbuy, are also worth a visit. Are you more of a sporty type? The nearby river is an excellent place for kayaking or fishing. If you prefer to stay on dry land, you can participate in a survival trip, but you can also try mountain biking, quad biking, climbing and abseiling in this beautiful region.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Wonderfully quiet (no entertainment is nice). Close to the forest, where we could enjoy walking the dog. And excellent opportunities for cycling (mountain bikes and road bikes). Plenty of shade, which was very welcome during this hot week. The bread service is excellent, and the bread was delicious. Friendly staff. Close to Houffalize for groceries and a terrace or restaurant. Plenty of charging stations. We had a wonderful week!
