Houffalize, Belgium-Luxembourg
Houffalize is located in the heart of the Ardennes and forms, together with Bastogne and La Roche, the tourist triangle. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, horse riding or cycling along one of the many routes. During your stay, be sure to visit the town of La Roche, where you will find nice shops and terraces as well as a castle. Bastogne and Europe's smallest city, Durbuy, are also worth a visit. Are you more of a sporty type? The nearby river is an excellent place for kayaking or fishing. If you prefer to stay on dry land, you can participate in a survival trip, but you can also try mountain biking, quad biking, climbing and abseiling in this beautiful region.

The peace and quiet, as well as the accommodation, were top-notch. We also ended up during a quiet period ourselves, and this was truly the ideal place to recharge our batteries.

Beautiful cottages, great location. No noise at night. Friendly staff. We emailed a few days before to request an extra night, and they were able to arrange it for us. They also returned our emails quickly. We had a wonderful stay!
