Besides the vast landscapes with forests, heath and meadows, you will find several dolmens nearby. Remembrance Centre Camp Westerbork, Museum Village Orvelte and the Drents Museum in Assen are just a stone's throw away. All definitely worth a visit. If you are looking for a day of thrills, Outdoor Klimpark Grolloo or the Drouwenerzand amusement park are just the place to be. Want a day of shopping? You can be in cosy Assen in the blink of an eye. With beautiful natural areas and plenty to do, this is the ideal place to unwind without getting bored.
