Charming 4-person chalet in Hoogersmilde
Beautiful 4-person chalet on Resort Drentse Weelde in Hoogersmilde. The park is located near the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, which is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. In the village of Hoogersmilde, you can do your shopping or enjoy a pleasant evening out in one of the restaurants. There are plenty of activities in the area, for young and old. A visit to the Wildlands Zoo in Emmen, to one of the amusement parks in the area or a lovely bike ride through the woods are all possible. Should you wish to spend a day in a larger city, Assen is 20 kilometres away from the holiday park.
Layout
This lovely four-bed chalet is single-storey and has a living room with a fitted kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. From the chalet you have a beautiful view of the meadow with horses. The living room has a Smart TV. There is one bedroom with a double bed, and the second bedroom has two single beds. The kitchen includes a complete kitchen inventory, a combination microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle. The modern bathroom has a spacious shower cabin, sink, toilet and plenty of storage space. The accommodation is heated and cooled by air conditioning. Outside there is a terrace with furniture where you can sit outside. In addition, you can park your car next to the chalet.

- Part of the park is under development, as a result facilities are closed and you might experience some construction nuisance. We naturally try to minimise this as much as possible.

Location and surroundings
Be amazed by the many kilometres of cycle paths in Drenthe. They wind through dense coniferous and deciduous forests and vast heathlands or sand drifts, but also along forest lakes, megalithic tombs and through old authentic Drenthe villages. There are numerous possibilities for excursions in the area: there is the Museum Village of Orvelte, Wildlands Emmen, the Boomkroonpad in Borger and Remembrance Centre Camp Westerbork. Nearby is the Blauwe Meer, a large natural lake with a sandy beach. For a day of shopping, you can be in Assen, Meppel or Hoogeveen in no time. Besides Hoogersmilde, you can also go to the nearby villages of Diever or Oranje for a good restaurant or a cup of coffee on the terrace.
