The surroundings of Hoofdplaat are perfect for wonderful walking and cycling tours. The dikes and polder roads lead you past polders, creeks, tall trees, old pollard willows and ancient towns with a rich history. For example, visit one of the picturesque places and towns in the area such as Breskens, Knokke (Belgium) and Cadzand. Go to one of the many seaside resorts nearby and walk, sun, swim and surf to your heart's content. Don't forget to stroll along the lively boulevard in the evening. From Breskens you can make the crossing to Vlissingen, a cozy Zeeland city full of history and a good place from which you can discover the rest of beautiful Walcheren.

The 4 of us stayed with 4 dogs for a long weekend. The house has enough space and the garden was escape-proof. The glasses and the freezer were unfortunately not so clean. For the dogs it was great, the way to the dyke was not far. The resort and village didn't offer much in the way of restaurants or dining options.
Wir 4 waren mit 4 Hunden ein verlängertes Wochenende. Das Haus hat genügend Platz und der Garten war ausbruchsicher. Die Gläser und der Gefrierschrank waren leider nicht so sauber. Für die Hunde war es top, der Weg zum Deich nicht weit. Die Anlage und das Dorf boten nicht viel an Restaurants oder Essensmöglichkeiten.

Guten Tag, wir sind jedes Jahr in Niederlande in einem Park im Urlaub und sind immer begeistert. Diesmal sind wir etwas enttäuscht. Viele Dinge waren leider nicht in Ordnung. Da hier nicht genug Platz ist, werden wir unsere Reklamation in das untere Feld einfügen.
