The surroundings of Hoofdplaat are perfect for wonderful walking and cycling tours. The dikes and polder roads lead you past polders, creeks, tall trees, old pollard willows and ancient towns with a rich history. For example, visit one of the picturesque places and towns in the area such as Breskens, Knokke (Belgium) and Cadzand. Go to one of the many seaside resorts nearby and walk, sun, swim and surf to your heart's content. Don't forget to stroll along the lively boulevard in the evening. From Breskens you can make the crossing to Vlissingen, a cozy Zeeland city full of history and a good place from which you can discover the rest of beautiful Walcheren.

We really enjoyed our time here with the whole family. It was also very good for the dogs as the garden was fenced in. Unfortunately we couldn't use the cot as it didn't really fit in any of the rooms and was too low to put the baby down without waking him up.
Wir haben die Zeit hier mit der gesamten Familie sehr genossen. Für die Hunde war es ebenfalls sehr gut, da der Garten umzäunt war. Leider konnten wir das Kinderbett nicht nutzen, da es in kein Zimmer wirklich passte und auch zu tief war um das Baby ablegen zu können, ohne daß es wach wurde.

Very nice and well-maintained complex. Ideal if you're looking for absolute peace and quiet. Unfortunately, no bakery or shops within walking distance. Very dog-friendly. Unfortunately, you are reliant on a car. The holiday home offered everything you needed and was very modernly furnished. We felt very comfortable, but it was just too quiet for our taste.
Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage. Optimal wenn man die Ruhe pur sucht. Leider kein Bäcker oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr Hundefreundlich . Leider ist man auf das Auto angewiesen. Das Ferienhaus hat alles geboten was man braucht und war sehr modern eingerichtet.Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt nur für unseren Geschmack zu ruhig
