Authentic 6-person gîte with a view over the Semois Valley National Park

You'll be staying in a charming six-person gîte, housed in the converted barn of a hunting lodge dating back to 1850 in the Semois valley. Built with clay and local wood, the house exudes tranquility and simplicity. The spacious kitchen-diner is fully equipped, and the generous dining table by the large pellet stove forms the heart of the house, a wonderful place to cook, dine, or play games together.

The gîte has three bedrooms, each with its own shower and sink. Two rooms have a double bed, while one room has two single beds and no window, creating a completely darkened sleeping area. There are also two separate toilets.

In winter, the house is heated by a pellet stove in the living room. Pellet consumption is not included in the rental price and is deducted from the deposit based on the number of bags used. Electric radiators are available in the bedrooms.

Through the large sliding window, you reach the wooden terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. In the garden, you can enjoy herbs, fruit trees, and a second terrace with views over the surrounding meadows and fields. You can park two cars on the lawn in front of the house.

The Semois Valley is a popular destination for those seeking peace and quiet and for nature lovers. Hike through the forests, where marked trails lead you past viewpoints, rock faces, and winding river tributaries. Cyclists and mountain bikers also find challenging routes through hilly terrain and vast natural areas. Along the way, you'll discover small Ardennes villages, panoramic vistas, and quiet spots where you can truly escape the daily grind.
