Detached holiday home for 4 people close to Groot-Valkenisse
Detached vacation home for 4 persons. Sheltered behind these dunes is an extensive sandy beach. The house is situated in a recreational forest area, close to the charming family resort of Zoutelande. You can cycle here in 10 minutes. In Zoutelande there is a supermarket, several stores, terraces and restaurants.
From this vacation home the rest of Walcheren is easy to reach. Vlissingen, Middelburg and Domburg are half an hour away by bike. For children there are many fun, small-scale attractions nearby.
This holiday home is about 30 metres from the road and has a large garden (600m²) with a terrace and a nice lawn. The living room has a cosy seating area, coffee table and a television. The kitchen is in another room, but still directly connected to the living room. You can close the kitchen with a door. The simple kitchen is equipped with most amenities such as a gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, oven, kettle and filter and Senseo coffee machine. The bathroom has a bath with shower, washbasin and toilet. There are two bedrooms, both bedrooms have two single beds and one bedroom has its own washbasin.
The holiday home has a private car park where you can park your car.

The hosts were friendly, but the house and furniture are in dire need of renovation. There were no regular plates in the kitchen, only small plastic ones. A flat rate of €56 for a week for energy costs is far too high; a detailed breakdown should be provided. I am unlikely to book this house again.
Nette Gastgeber, das Haus allerdings bedürfte dringend einer Renovierung, ebenso die Möbel. Keine normalen Teller in der Küche, nur kleine Plastikteller. Eine Pauschale von 56 € für eine Woche für die Energiekosten ist viel zu hoch, hier sollte eine genaue Abrechnung erfolgen. Eine neue Buchung dieses Hauses ist unwahrscheinlich.

Dear Mr. Kamp, thank you for your review. We are sorry that the property you booked was disappointing. We will see what we can improve! There is a cupboard in the room fully stocked with dishes, which you may have overlooked. The energy costs (gas, water, electricity) of €8 per day for the 4-person house in September are certainly realistic for the Netherlands.

Die Energiekosten (Gas, Wasser, Strom) im September für das 4-Personen-Haus von 8 Euro pro Tag sind sicherlich für die Niederlande real.

It was a very beautiful house with sheep grazing in the meadow in the garden. It was a very quiet, beautiful location, not far from the sea. A very friendly atmosphere, best regards.

The owners were very friendly and communication was smooth. The cottage is dated. There's a lot of damp, and the cleaning left a lot to be desired. There's some hair in the bathtub, and the living room doors are in dire need of cleaning. A bucket of ammonia wouldn't hurt. The double bed didn't have much springing and was quite hard.
De eigenaren waren erg aardig en het contact verliep vlot. Het huisje is gedateerd. Veel vocht en de schoonmaak liet wat te wensen over. Wat haren in de badkuip en de deuren in de woonkamer zijn hard aan een schoonmaakbeurt toe. Een emmer met ammoniak zou hier geen kwaad kunnen. In het tweepersoonsbed zat niet veel vering en was vrij hard.
