Wonderfully located 4 person farm apartment near Frederiksoord | Drenthe
In Frederiksoord, part of the "Society of Benevolence" of yesteryear and since 2021 on the World Heritage List of UNESCO, you will find this wonderfully located four-person farm apartment. This apartment has a beautiful view over the yard of the farm and the monumental Hoeve Koning Willem III. Every morning you can see how all the cows are fed with the tractor. An area for walking, cycling and especially to sniff the past. History comes to life in the nearby "Proefkolonie". Here you will follow in the footsteps of the first settlers and experience their unforgettable story through a unique multimedia journey through time! A visit to the beautiful towns of Steenwijk, Meppel or Blokzijl is also worthwhile. If you want something completely different, you can visit the dolmens in Havelte or the water village of Giethoorn. plenty to do in this wonderful forest and water-rich environment.
Layout
Cozy apartment at the front of the Paardenstal. The large windows (formerly the entrance to the horse stable) make this a bright apartment. The apartment is new and equipped with all the features for a pleasant stay, in total, there are four apartments. The apartment is well insulated and offers plenty of privacy. On the ground floor there is a beautifully furnished living room with two sofas, Smart TV and a dining area. The open kitchen includes a dishwasher, induction hob, fridge with freezer, oven, coffee maker and kettle. The bathroom with toilet, sink and rain shower is located on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two spacious and attractive bedrooms. Each bedroom has two single box-spring beds. Beds can be separated or pushed together. Outside you have a sunny terrace with garden furniture. In addition, there is access to a large shared enclosed farm garden with flower garden and lawn.
Parking is possible at the apartment. In the garden there is a shed where the (electric) bicycle can be parked.

Frederiksoord is located in the wooded province of Drenthe. The village is on the UNESCO World Heritage List as one of the Colonies of Beneficence. Word has it that the welfare state was invented in this village. Discover the village's rich history at Museum The Trial Colony of the Society of Weldadigheid. The museum also goes into nature. By following walking or cycling routes, or taking the special colony tram, you will find the historical legacy reflected in the landscape. If you want to experience Frederiksoord from the air, even that is possible. Then book a balloon ride! In the nearby village of Vledder, you can soak up even more culture.

Heel gastvrij, perfect appartement, leuk om zo op een boerderij te overnachten

Al voor de vierde keer op de boerderij vakantie gevierd. En zeker niet de laatste keer. Gaat nooit vervelen. Leuk, schoon appartement. Super gastvrij, alles kan, alles mag. Leuk om het boerenleven te ervaren. Omgeving prachtig. Wandelen, fietsen, mountainbiken dichtbij allemaal mogelijk.
