Spacious 6-person bungalow on the water at a holiday park in Eernewoude
Enjoy comfort, relaxation, and the Frisian nature in this bungalow, located on a holiday park in the middle of De Alde Feanen National Park. The park offers plenty of facilities, such as bicycle and boat rental, a restaurant, and playgrounds.
The bungalow has two bedrooms with washbasins, a spacious waterfront garden with a terrace, garden furniture, and a jetty for your (rental) boat.
The park borders the beautiful nature reserve with lakes, swamp forests, and more than 450 plant species, ideal for walks, bike rides, and boat trips. In the surrounding area, you will find charming towns and villages such as Leeuwarden and Akkrum, and for children, Kameleondorp Terherne and the subtropical swimming pool with a wild water slide in Joure are highly recommended.

Eernewoude, Friesland
This beautiful place is located in the beautiful De Alde Feanen National Park. A special area better known as The Pearl of Friesland. It is a village with a rich history that used to be inhabited by cane cutters, farmers and fishermen. The area is surrounded by unique landscapes that you can admire beautifully from above from one of the many watchtowers. In the winter months, this is also the place for a wonderful (skating) holiday: you will find the most beautiful tours and the tastiest hot chocolate in and around Leeuwarden, Sneek and Dokkum. Other tips in the area include Aqua Zoo Leeuwarden, the Kameleondorp Terherne, seal centre Pieterburen, the Skûtsjemuseum Eernewoude and the Frisian Lakes.

The cottage was mediocre. I'd requested three bedrooms. A box bed would be provided as a third. Worthless. The TV didn't show any channels.
Het huisje ws matig. Ik had gevraagd om 3 slaapkamers. Dan komt er een bedstee als 3e. Waardeloos. Tv die niet op de zenders te krijgen was.

We were disappointed that everything was closed. And we missed the personal contact. The surroundings were beautiful.

The house was very beautiful and wonderfully situated by the water. Unfortunately, the furnishings weren't particularly great. The furniture in the living room and kitchen was a bit dated. There were no cushions or pads for the garden furniture, and there wasn't even a lounger for the garden. All of this is standard for houses in the Netherlands.
Das Haus war sehr schön und wunderbar am Wasser gelegen. Leider war die Einrichtung nicht besonders toll. Die Möbel im Wohnzimmer und Küche waren schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für die Gartenmöbel gab es keine Sitzkissen oder Auflagen, auch eine Liege für den Garten war nicht vorhanden. All dies ist bei Häusern in den Niederlande Standart.
